We still don't exist as a band anymore. 😜
But - many of the fine folks from the three years we were together are out making beautiful noise in the Black Hills and beyond regularly. You should catch their shows.
No posts since July of 2014!?
Well, that what happens when bands break up.
For those interested, please check out Molly with her new project Von Varagon Society as she and Monte participate in the Lucky's 13 Pub Second Friday's Songwriter Showcase with a couple of other very talented guys. Tomorrow from 8pm-11pm, all original acoustic music.
LAST. SHOW. EVER.
Well, with this band.
Molly Brown will sing again - with someone....
Johnny Hastings never stops playing.
Caleb Buum see above.
Josh Marquis has Granite Sun, PAX and more.
Come on out and enjoy a frosty cold one, some blues, rock, country, and possibly weird hybrid island-bagpipe-psychedelic tunes. Okay, not the last ones.
Bring your friends, your appetite and your instruments. Let's have a jam!
Our last gig in the Northern Hills is tonight at Santana's in the @DMGrand - Wednesday we wrap it up at Quaker Steak http://t.co/KR7OpCWJwS
After 25 months and 17 drummers (yep, SEVENTEEN drummers) Demand Theory is calling it quits. BUT - not before we throw one hell of a party! THREE NIGHTS of a party.
We will be hitting the SANTANA'S stage (the former Slime Plant Lounge) on the main level of the Deadwood mountain Grand this Friday-Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Music starts at 9:00pm each night and will feature the current lineup of, Molly, Johnny, Caleb, Josh with longtime member Chris and about a half dozen... friends, collaborators and invited guests from over the years.
Look for blues laced versions of some staples, new stuff from the charts, a little country, lots of rock and all done with the standard Demand Theory flare!
Friday May 23rd - 9:00pm-1:00am
Saturday May 24th - 9:00pm-1:00am
Sunday May 25th - 9:00pm-1:00am
As Porky Pig was so fond of saying . . . .
Uh-the-buh-duh, the-buh-duh, the-buh-dun THAT'S ALL FOLKS!
What all started March 31, 2012 at the Backporch in Spearfish has now come to an end. After a little over two years, dozens of gigs, and what seems like just as many band members, Demand Theory is calling it quits. It is truly a bittersweet moment; but one that has far more sweet than bitter....
