With a very heavy heart, we need to cancel the Rods & Robots event
It is with a very heavy heart that we need to cancel the Rods and Robots event this weekend. As you probably know, our school experienced an unspeakable tragedy, and our community needs time to grieve.

Our hearts go out to the families affected by this. With a maker mindset towards progress, I hope we can work towards a way to prevent these senseless acts.

On Tuesday, the FIRST community lost one of its own. We are heartbroken by the death of Kendrick Castillo, a victim of the STEM School Highlands Ranch shooting ...in Littleton, Colorado. Kendrick was a member of FIRST Robotics Competition Team 4418, STEM IMPULSE, of which his father is Lead Mentor. Our hearts go out to Kendrick’s family and friends, and to all affected by the shooting. FIRST stands with Team 4418 and the entire Littleton community during this incredibly difficult time.
