I have been there twice with my sister. Cool place. While I didn't buy any animals, I enjoyed walking around looking at them. I want to return at some point to get some chickens for my coop. I also en...joyed walking around the flea market area. It's nice that they allow people to do that. See More

I took 15 Chickens there tonight 4/30/14 & I was the first one there with chickens & the lady there said to put the chickens in one of the cages there & try to put as many in as possible so I was ther...e about 4 weeks prior & seen how they sell & so I wanted mine sold first to get the best price. Well 4 weeks ago I bought chicks from there place & a week later I had the Department of Agricultural knocking on my door demanding to see my animals because they sold sick chickens with AI so all my animals were put at risk of being put down & so a whole day of my time was wasted there but any way I had my chickens there at 1:30 & the sale for poultry does not sell till 6 so I thought great I am first & my chickens will sell first so I thought. Here mine got sold last & did not bring nothing unlike the one's that brought there's last that got sold first, there's all sold for high prices & mine were the best looking chickens that were there but by the time mine sold at the end of the night most every one had left or was out of $. What a sad way to do business & I left the women in the office know I was not happy about it & she did not seem to care one bit but looking around the place I can see why ! There drive way & parking is nothing but mud & the roof they can not even patch hole's & is leaking every place. The metal roofing is flapping up & down & ready to fly off & hurt some one. You can tell they put NO $ or time into repairs on the place what so ever. There help was even complaining about the place. They did spend $ on a new food trailer since the last time I was there & this is the only reason I give them a 1 star. I think a building code inspector & health department needs to look this place over because it is a dangerous place for the public. Soda machines did not work so you were forced to by over priced small cups from the trailer. The bath rooms are 2 portable out houses with no water to wash hands. The boy that was cooking was out also handling animals & hopefully he washed before returning to cook again. they allow people that buy the animal's to throw them into feed sack bags (sad). I drove 2 hours to get to this place & like I said I bought the first time & sold the 2nd. & I was unhappy both time's ! I may return down the road to see if there is any highly needed improvements because it could be a nice place if some one would just care ! See More

I just wanted to say i took my 3 year old out to Dills last night to see all the animals. I must say the guy in the sale ring with the goats, sheep ect is really good about bringing the animals to the... fence so little ones could touch and pet the animals. It was nice to see people be so kind when the little ones dont understand what the auction is for. I will def be taking her back in the future. See More

I've been sellselling my goats at Dills for years and no problems. Last month I took a load of goats and one beautiful young rooster to sell. Even the guys in the poultry barn remarked how nice my roo...ster was. Well, I got a check for the goats, but absolutely nothing for the rooster! Tried to call them about iit and only get an answering machine. Sellers BEWARE!!! See More
