I have a tough time dragging my kids away from the 5 and under room or the water table. They’re almost 4 and 1.5. It’s a fantastic indoor option on a yucky day too!!

We had a great time at the Discovery Center yesterday. My 2 grandsons who are 3&4 really had a great time. We found the facility to be clean and well cared for and the staff friendly and helpful. We spe...nt almost 3hrs there and will definitely be going back in the near future,(when the budget allows) It is a little pricey when you take a family. My husband and I took our 2 grandchildren ages 3 and 4 and they really enjoyed it. The 5 and under room was great for them and then of course the floor with all the offices and stores were fun for the...m. We ended up getting a family membership in hopes that we can enjoy more educational fun with the grandkids and their parents. My only complaint is that things were really disorganized in the toddler room and the stores. We couldn't find a lot of the things that went to certain stations because everything was just thrown everywhere. All in all a wonderful experience and look forward to using our membership a lot this winter when we are looking for indoor things to go and do with the family. See More

Had a WONDERFUL and delightful time with our son & grandson. Every turn brought new adventures and new things to learn. From weather sciences to chicken embryos to hands on real science experiments in... the lab. What really grabbed his attention was the physics of storing energy and then getting to release it with a ZAP! All very safe and so very educational.

As a not-for-profit, publicly funded facility we were very impressed with the level of care & maintenance shown throughout. We did not see an defunct, damaged or defective exhibits anywhere. The staff in the Lab were exceptionally helpful & even took us "behind the scenes" to see newly hatched chicks.

There are some very interesting things to see. I would agree with other reviews, too many things were not operational when we were there, missing parts/ pieces. Kids not being supervised by parents, b...ig shock. We had to spend 20 minutes cleaning up the grocery store before we could shop. I'm certainly not blaming the staff, but the parents and kids. The lab was very fun and interactive. For the price of admission, 2 adults and a child was $32, I feel like it could be better maintained and staffed. Also, all of the Air-Master hand santizer stations were empty. I would go back and give it another chance if my niece wanted to go again. Great concept, just needs some attention to detail. See More

Was fun for all ages. Charging to ride the high wire bike was a little rediculous since I already spend 60 dollars for 5 people to get in. Everything else was decent. 1 gentleman worker on the 2nd flo...or near the tesla machine was awesome. He was so informative and helpful, an all around nice guy. If he would have been with us the whole time I think I would have gave you a 5 star rateing. He was definatly one of the best things about the place. Added a photo of him because I didn't know his name. Great job young man See More

Could be a five star but some displays are torn up and in disrepair and others are closed and not staffed. That being said the one staff member was Very Helpful and my 8 year old Granddaughter really ...enjoyed!!! Needs more funding!!! See More

Wasn't a fan. Kids didn't care to much for it until the 3rd floor. A lot of things required staff, and none if it was open the time we went. Not there fault, but a lot of items were misplaced, like th...e play store items were in the puppet room so it was messy stepping over everything. I recommend kids for 10 and up and who enjoy the learning experience. We went on a weekday and it was really busy, so what didn't require staff there was a wait. Almost debated about getting a refund. See More

Gave this one 3 stars for the simple fact that I've never been to any other discovery center.. it was interesting and fun and all, but if you have little ones such as I do.. (10 months & 16 months) th...ere really isn't much for them to do.. yes they have a designated room for them.. but there really wasent much in there, kinda small and crowded.. but the rest of the building, I found myself even finding cool things to check out.. overall.. I had fun though..
Pros: big building, interesting, 3 different floors
Cons: not very toddler friendly, wasent impressed with the gift shop, not very organized and clean

My boyfriend and I (in our 40's) decided to let our inner-kids out, and drive 2 hrs to see what the DC was about. It was actually quite educational, and we enjoyed many of the hands-on exhibits, and ...especially the science lab; which we spent at least an hour at, doing 5 of the labs. Seeing the chicken embryo outside the egg was really cool. We tried every exhibit, and the only thing that we saw that was broken were the lights on the 'money from around the world', so they must have fixed the problems mentioned in previous reviews. Though we probably won't go back again until we have grandkids, I definitely recommend the DC for kids, and kids-at-heart, of all ages. See More
