    I'm definitely blessed to be with such a hard working group of people here at #Doorway. I love my team, love who I work with outside of the team, I love the whole system I'm apart of. It feels good to receive the Riverfront Times Award fo...r Best Hip Hop Group THREE Years in a row, 2012 - 2014 at Doorway! Also, I feel honored to be considered one of the dopest in the city, and I love the support I have from my people!! I'm still somewhat in shock to win the Best Hip Hop Solo Artist, cause I feels there's plenty of worthy candidates, even within my own circle, however it's a good feeling regardless! Here's to adding a few more to this collection, I'm trying to add some Grammy's and some Oscars along the way!!! Meer weergeven

      Yesterday Doorway, Old Salt Union, Search Parties, Nappy DJ Needles and myself, all won Riverfront Times Awards last night! I think we're all deserving, no question. The thing we all have in common is that we all originated and came from the East Side, Southern Illinois, 618 area; AND we are all some of main representatives of our area through our respective genres, each of those bands has a fan base over here that is fortified, and in place, and will back us up the whole way. I know that everyone is constantly batting for "who's the best such n such n STL", and is always apart of the tug of war game for support, and that happens when there's bigger markets and a lot of talent, but it feels good to know I don't have to battle for a fan base where I rest my head at.. not saying that I don't have hella fans in STL though either... we're everywhere.. but it's hard to go ANYWHERE on the East Side without someone knowing us..

    THIS FRIDAY!!! FRIDAY JUNE 13TH AT The Gramophone!!! Doorway will be doing a show unlike any other, with the first annual DOORWAY 4D EXPERIENCE!!! Our music videos, with show versions of the songs, will be playing on the projector while we ...perform, we will also be playing out some of the videos, and doing different interactions a long the way. This is not your typical Doorway Show, this is more like a play/musical!!! The doors open at 10:30 p.m, and the show starts precisely at MIDNIGHT!!! Consider it a MIDNIGHT SHOWING!!! This is a FREE EVENT!!! Ages 21 and up only, but it absolutely free all night long!! I promise there's not going to be another show like this, come out and have fun with us!!     This Friday we will be fresh off the road from Memphis and live and direct at the gramophone! This isn't your regular #Doorway show tho. We will be acting out ALL of our videos and performing them while the video plays in the background.     Doorway is the definition of an Independent Label. We're registered as a business with the state of Illinois. We have our own studio. We have our own means of cd production and duplication. We have our own sound/pa system. We have our Doorway Mobile that allows us to travel across the country and perform. We have space in our studio for our bands to rehearse, as well as space for producers t...o work and create. We have our own promotion, graphic design, and marketing team. We have a street named after us lol. We have worked with and developed a network/family, including a plethora of high quality artists, producers, videographers, etc... as well as won a plethora of awards over the years... while gracing thousands of stages and venues... Including myself, we have 6 artists signed to the label, Ramel Rt-faq Prince, S.d. Thedizzleman, L-Gifted Hendricks, Tek Doorway, and Daniel Monkh Horrell... and we cover all types of musical platforms. Djsno Stl is the official Doorway Dj.. We also have worked numerous charity events, formed charities and non-for profit organizations, performed at schools all over the area, and developed the understanding of being role models, as well as artists and entertainers..     June 13th Doorway:The 4D Experience will be taking place at The Gramophone, we will be performing all our WORLD FAMOUS CLASSICS lol, as well as doing live video interaction performances. We're going to be playing show versions of our videos on a projector, as well as acting and playing out a few scenes, full fledged costumes, and interaction, from some of the dopest videos Doorway's got, like "Out There", "Feel Like I Do", "Line Em Up", and more..     Coming out of East Saint Louis, Illinois; representing the independent label D...oorway, RT-FaQ is

    gearing up for the release of his newest project ‘Ea$t $t. Lo$er$’ with the drop of his first video/single

    “Dos”. The song is produced by The Great Joint Commission (Asurms and Richie Rich), and they made

    sure this one was a banger; while also allowing room for RT-FaQ’s rapid fire delivery yet substance

    filled lyrics. RT-FaQ spends the track describing some of his personal battles, as well as letting people

    know he doesn’t have time for other people throwing negativity or shade in his life. This conscious;

    self-reflection lyrical output, combined with a banging track, is the formula that RT-FaQ has packed

    into ‘Ea$t $t. Lo$ers’. “Dos” is just a sample.

    The video for “Dos”, shot by Alex White of Dim Productions, follows along with the theme of

    the movie White Men Can’t Jump. RT-FaQ plays the role of Sidney Deane, and RT’s friend Donnie Millas

    plays the role of Billy Hoyle, all the way down to the hat. Watchers of the video tag along with the two

    of them on their basketball adventures through the streets of East Saint Louis and Southern Illinois; as

So Saturday, June 13th, at the Gramophone, we will be doing a FREE SHOW, doors open at 10:30, with the show starting at MIDNIGHT!! That's right, a MIDNIGHT SHOWING!!! lol just like a night at the movies. This isn't going to be your regular everyday run of the mill rap show. We're going to be making show versions of our songs to our videos, and we are going to be performing the songs while the videos play in the background, we will also be having costumes, fan interaction, stunts, and more.
