“The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand.” Psalm 37:23-24
At times it is hard to remember that although we may struggle, the Lord will never allow us to fall. Life presents many obstacles and hardships, failures that may seem unbearable. Often we can feel abandoned and deserted. Whether in work, love, or other aspects of life, the Lord has a plan for us and will guide us along the way. We must remember that his support will bring us strength.
Start your week with one of Mother Teresa’s wonderful quotes...
“Let us always meet each other with a smile, for a smile is the beginning of love.”
Don’t you think reflecting God’s love to the world is one of the most important things we are called to do? Have a great week and be sure to look for God’s presence

Each year from when the kids were little, I had a stocking for Jesus and ask that each of us write a letter and put it in his stocking Christmas Eve. We share our joys, gratitude, and hopes for the future. What would you say in your letter?
If you are at a loss for gift ideas, here are some suggestions. Can you think of other things to add to this list?
To a loved one, time together
To a friend, your heart
To every child, a good example
To an enemy, forgiveness...
To everyone, grace
To yourself, love
To God, your everything.
Only three more days left for the chance to receive a free signed copy of "7 Lessons from Heaven" ! Today I want to ask, do you have a favorite place to spend Christmas? I always spend Christmas at home with my husband and kids. To me, the white blanket of snow that covers the valley during Christmas reminds me of the "blank slate" that Jesus gave, and continues to give, us through his birth and rebirth.
Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. -Hebrews 13:2
On the ninth day of giving, what does showing hospitality mean to you? During Christmas, we are all filled with a sense of giving, but it is important to remember that giving goes beyond the physical. We must give over our souls to God and he in turn will fill our hearts with love and compassion, and spread joy to those around us. We must care for others as they too are children of God.
I wish everyone a great start to their week! For the eighth day of giving, what is your favorite part of the nativity scene? For my family, ours has always been baby Jesus. On Christmas day, one of us receives the figurine as a gift and they have the honor of completing the nativity by placing Jesus in the manger.
For the seventh day of Christmas giving, I want to pose this question - which is your favorite candle or what is your favorite part of advent? I love everything about the advent season because of the hope found in Jesus's coming birth, but my favorite candle is today's pink one because it represents joy. Joy that is a continual choice we make. Joy that remains despite difficulties because it is based on God's promises rather than our momentary circumstances.
For the sixth day of giving, if you are in the the tradition of putting up a Christmas tree, what is your favorite ornament to hang? Each Christmas I give my family ornaments representing something meaningful that happened in their life that year. When we decorate our tree, it's fun to look back on all the special moments ❤️
And on the fifth day, we have trivia! What is the meaning of the name Emmanuel? We often sing Emmanuel in our Christmas carols, but it is important to be reminded of the true meaning behind the melodic verses.
Don't forget to like, comment, and share for a chance to receive a signed copy of "7 Lessons from Heaven"! All recipients will be announced at the end of the 12 days.
