GET TO KNOW THE AUSTRIAN ADVANTAGE OF BIOMASS
Evoworld is pleased to announce the dates for our first comprehensive technical training sessions. This training is designed for contractors, installers, engineers, distributors and biomass enthusiasts to become familiar with the Evoworld Boiler. The training will cover boiler specifics for installation, operation and maintenance....
EVOWORLD WELCOMES RENEWABLE HEAT NY!!
On Tuesday, July 29, 2014 Evoworld USA kicked-off a special day in the Bio-mass community alongside Renewable Heat NY. The announcement of a comprehensive set of programs under Governor Cuomo’s Renewable Heat NY Initiative were unveiled. Renewable Heat NY is designed to build a sustainable, renewable heating sector, skilled installer base and a sustainably harvested wood fuel supply from Ney York forests. This had been a long time coming... within the bio-mass community! The bio-mass community has recognized that incentive programs in other locals have helped establish familiarity and infrastructure which jump started the industry. Evoworld has partnered with Troy Boiler Works, Inc. whose knowledge of ASME Code has allowed for a rapid transition to manufacturing in the U.S.
“We at Evoworld have recognized that improving the efficiency of America’s energy sources is a State and National imperative.” These are the words spoken by Evoworld’s Vice President, Louis E. Okonski in his opening speech at the kick off. Recognizing this has allowed Evoworld and others such as Ecoburn, to create products that ensure the transition away from fossil fuels is accomplished efficiently and cost effectively while utilizing our renewable energy supply. These new high-efficiency systems are automated and cleaner burning. The modern boiler designs produced by Evoworld and those produced by ACT in Niskayuna and Thermo-Control in Cobleskill, have revolutionary ease of use and efficiency. Credit must be given to Ney York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA). NYSERDA recognized the need to diversify their programs to incorporate the use of high efficiency biomass heat in New York’s energy portfolio. They have worked tirelessly to be sure that all aspects of the industry, whether fuel supply, installation, unit performance meet today’s highest standards. We are encouraged by NYSERDA’s approach to provide modern, high efficient biomass burning equipment which in the long run minimizes fuel cost and maximizes return on investment.
In addition to NYSERDA, Evoworld would like to thank all of the additional speakers who helped to unveil this astonishing achievement in the Bio-mass community: John B. Rhodes, President and CEO, NYSERDA; Joe Martens, Commissioner, DEC; Assemblyman John McDonald (108th); Assemblyman Marc Butler(118th); Laurie Vincent, Owner, Vincent’s Heating and Fuel Service; Mark Odell, VP Sales and Marketing, Econoburn; Paul Boyle, Ph.D., Director of Engineering and QA/QC, Advanced Climate Technologies LLC; Matt McArdle, Chair, New York Biomass Energy Alliance.
