Another magic Burns Night in Ecton. Great job by the band Oddsox for getting us dancing (even though we hadn't a clue what we were doing). Well done to Colin and Alison for their very entertaining speeches. Fantastic job by the team behind the scenes for all their hard work.

By 1914 Kilham Wold Farm - 82 acres of up and down near Driffield, East Yorkshire - had been in Harrison hands for 30 years, taken from a local landowner after unwittingly winning a wager. With war now raging around them, brothers William and Alfred have to face their heritage and tirelessly fight for their family's survival against a rapidly changing world.
From the writer of the international hit One Man, Two Guvnors, for the first time a 6-strong ensemble present this sweeping rural saga, an epic story spanning the 20th century. This darkly entertaining comedy tells the story of one rural family's survival in a changing agricultural landscape, over generations of births, deaths, love and a lifetime of farming.

All villagers are invited to join us for a drink at the village hall on Tuesday April 4th to hear a report on the committee’s actions over the last 12 months, the hall’s financial situation and thoughts on the future.
A very important part of the meeting is to hear your views on what events or activities you would like to see at the hall. Perhaps you might even be able to find ways of helping out.
Remember it is your village hall, so to give the committee the best chance of meeting the needs of the village we need your input.
Come and enjoy a supper of haggis, neeps and tatties, hear some words of the Bard, maybe have a wee dram and then jig to a ceilidh band.
