We had a blast performing last evening at The Pharmacy!! Thank you so much to everyone who came out!
Special thanks to Jeff Curtis Williams for coordinating this great event. We love the space!!
Just a reminder that this is happening tomorrow & you should be there!!! 😊
End Times are quickly approaching!! End Times Trio, that is! 😂👍
End Times Trio with Jeff Williams hosts Structure/Unstructure Art & Music Event at The Pharmacy. The Pharmacy Gallery & Art Space has on display the exhibit STRUCTURE, which explores the word and the thought of STRUCTURE. The physical space in which this collection of member artists' works is gathered has fantastic audio properties—inherent in the building Structure. END TIMES TRIO, Devin Larson's Letters from the Schumann Resonance, and Ted Keylon's Lab Gnat, will explore... the musical potential in this structural space, creating a unique public music performance. Guests will experience the artistic suite of fine art and experimental music in this stately and beautiful-sounding space.
END TIMES TRIO is Springfield IL's only known avant-garde jazz ensemble. The group features FRANK TROMPETER on tenor, alto, and soprano saxophones, celebrated composer MARK SCHWARTZ on bass and prepared guitar, and RICHARD GILMAN-OPALSKY on drums and percussion, and performs dynamic improvised “art music” that treads a sonic terrain from sparse and melodic to dense, blustery cacophony. Their music is generally unstructured, lacking pre-arranged song forms, planned melodic lines and predictable rhythm.
Letters from the Schumann Resonance is a forward-thinking experimental music project featuring Devin Larson.
Lab Gnat is Ted Keylon's one-man experimental electro-acoustic music project.
A $5 Donation will be collected and split between the music acts and The Pharmacy.
