My favorite place for Ethiopian food. First went there for a business meeting and have been hooked ever since. I love the fact that the ambiance is great, the... food portions are good, and the food is tasty. The service is still great after having been open for a while (usually that's the first thing to go). Love it.عرض المزيد
My girlfriend and I were walking through the neighborhood and happened upon Ethiopic. We decided to stop in and boy am I glad we did. It was seriously amazing! ...Had the lamb tibs. The flavor was incredible. Perfect texture on the lamb and the stew was the right consistency, just saucy enough. The injera was on point as well. As a chef of 20 years experience I don't normally write reviews. I leave that to the general public. In this case I made an exception. Next time I'm in DC I will be back for more. You should go too.عرض المزيد
I have been coming to this place since it first opened, back when you could get a seat without a reservation. This is one of my favorite restaurants in DC, a w...onderful staff, great ambiance and phenomenal food. You should definitely check this place out but now it is so popular you probably want to call ahead.عرض المزيد

Ethiopic is fantastic. I can't speak to how authentic or not it is, since I am by no means an expert on ethiopian food, but it was a great experience. got the v...egetarian sampler 2 and have zero complaints. Great service, great food, different kind of experience. Recommend it highly, I'll be going back for sure.عرض المزيد
This was my first time trying Ethiopian cuisine. I made a reservation for my partners birthday dinner and hoped for the best. I'm glad I did! Food and service was perfect. Amazing atmosphere. Definitely recommend!
Fresh, beautiful, balanced. Perhaps some of the most nuanced spicing I've had in a couple years. Injera was light, perfect texture. Bedele export was perfect quaff with a perfect meal. Thank you, thank you.
Explore an exciting eatery in a city known for its many Ethiopian restaurants. The buzz has been more than positive about the stunning Ethiopic in the Atlas District, which is making a name for serving delicious authentic cuisine. The Washington Post’s Tom Sietsema praised it as “the benchmark for t…
It may come as a surprise to some that Ethiopia was named as the “World’s top tourism destination” for 2015, but to many Ethiopian expats living in the Unites States it is a sign of elation. It’s safe to say that Ethiopians living in America aren’t conveniently close to their native land. So, how’s…

Why don't I eat Ethiopian food more often?!? It's SO delicious. You...'re looking at a mix of mild and spicy beef and chicken atop an airy swath of injera. A super fresh tomato and jalapeño salad in the middle is a perfect contrast. This was our first dinner last night in DC!عرض المزيد
