I highly recommend Dr. Fales and his team. (I do not do that lightly) We needed a new pediatric dentist and he was recommended by other dentists. Both, our seven year old and two year old have had cl...eanings with success. Our seven year old needed extensive work with anesthesia. I felt confident in Dr. Fales and his team to take care of our little guy and complete the dental work well. The office personnel are genuine and helpful. We have been to multiple pediatric dentists, all over the United States. We have had good and bad experiences. I hope everyone has as good an experience at Fales Pediatric Dentistry as we do. Some extras you will find at the office: toy room with a lot of toys!, children’s books, coloring sheets and colored pencils, Kuerig coffee pods, two golden retrievers (I think) who you can visit, if you like and a homemade cookie in your bag of dental goodies (tooth brush, floss, etc). My 10 week old was referred to Dr. Fales for an upper lip tie correction. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Fales and his team! EXCELLENT bedside manner, information given, and spectacular car...e. Even though his practice is an hour away from us, he is our dentist now! P.S. his therapy dogs are great for nervous kids. I didn't think an office like this existed. We have searched high and low. Driven 30 minutes one way and 30 minutes the other and found Dr. Fales and his team nearly in our backyard! I have two specia...l needs children and they are amazing with them. Down to earth, authentic people just doing what they do best. My boys have seen a different pediatric dentist since they were babies. That dentist retired 2 years ago and so I went searching for a new dentist and found a great one at Sonic when Doctor Fales and ...his staff were eating lunch! I have an 11 year old with Down Syndrome who is very sensitive and barely opened his mouth to have his teeth looked at,let alone cleaned! But he does great at Fales and even got his picture on the wall for cavity free club. We are glad we found a dentist who helps my son feel welcome and comfortable. See More

Dr.Fales is amazing and my daughter says he is super nice! Plus she LOVES Spencer and gets so excited to see him! The office is geared all for kids which makes going to the dentist much easier for my ...daughter. She has had to have 4 crowns on her front teeth and they look amazing and so natural. The only thing we did have a problem with is the anesthesia company that they work with. They originally told us an exact amount to pay up front which we paid every dime of it up front but they still billed us an extra $200! Which they did make a mistake so they ended up saying we owed an extra $75 instead of $200. Well I informed them I will NOT Be paying that and told them over and over again they told us an amount which was $425 out of our pocket and we paid that and still billed us for $75. In turn they turned us into a collection agency for $75 when they ended up getting a total of $1200. $775 from our insurance and $425 out of our pocket. So here my name is in a collection agency when we did pay in full. So I was NOT happy at all with that company. Dr.Fales you might want to look into dealing with another anesthesia place to work with because I would hate for this to happen to someone else and bring your business down. I'm so thankful for Dr. Fales and his wonderful staff. My son has a small mouth and has already required a lot of dental & pre-orthodontic work. He also has a great deal of anxiety about his dental v...isits. Dr. Fales & his staff are always kind, caring and attentive. When my son found out he was going to have to go back to have a tooth pulled, he nearly jumped out of the chair. Dr. Fales was so empathic with him. He knew just how to relate to him to help him calm down. I've never seen a dentist relate to his patients the way Dr. Fales does. On the day of the tooth extraction, he & his assistants calmly walked my son through each step, supporting & encouraging him. Although my son is still not thrilled to go to the dentist, he trusts Dr. Fales because he knows he cares. See More

We came to OP and Olathe new just over 3 years ago. A neighbor told us about Fales as we were looking for a dentist ... Our then 8 year old went through 3 appliances and braces and we could not be h...appier with the work or the employees. So disappointed with my daughter’s dental experience on 5/5/16. We elected to have sealants put on her teeth as she has deep grooves in her molars and we want as much cavity prevention as possible. We...ll, during her appointment she became very upset and scared and I learned kept asking for me. To which they told her, "No." She was so upset that she actually burst blood vessels around her eyes. I'm angry and disappointed in what I believed to be a great pediatric dentistry. My child is a bit traumatized - NOT the experience I ever wanted her to have at the dentist. When my husband question the dentist as to why they didn't come out and get me when she continued to ask for me - the dentist said well what was she (me) going to be able to do? I couldn't apply the sealants. No shit! I'm not a dental professional. However, I'm one damn good mother who could provide comfort and the sense of security to her child. Fales Pediatric Dentistry failed us.

Also, this dentistry tries to be child friendly by having all kids put their handprint on the wall their first visit, kitschy decor, kids play area, a warm cookie after your appointment and today they even had the kids write a Mother's Day note and gave all mothers a rose. Sweet, good intentions. Oh and they even have a sweet Golden therapy dog always there. All these bells and whistles can not make up for the horrible chairside manner exhibited today. We can take an art class, bake or buy cookies, play with our pets, watch a Disney flick whenever we want. However, we went to the dentist to have them focus on a good dental experience and care. I don't go to the bakery and ask for them to polish my teeth argh I'm still so livid. I was allowed back her first visit, but not the subsequent two. I'm all for earning the kids trust and building a relationship with their doctor. However, when a child requests a parent for any reason - the only thing that should be said to that child is “absolutely give me one minute.” See More

Amazing with all kids! I have a couple of special needs children too and they are so patient and kind with them. They talk to the children on their level to help them understand the importance of or...al hygiene. My daughter broke a tooth and they saw her same day to ensure it was okay.
