MEET OUR NEWEST INTERN!
Owen is interning at Finger Lakes Technologies Group Inc (FLTG),and focusing on Information Technology. FLTG is an affiliate of The Ontario & Trumansburg telephone companies (OTTC), which is the second largest independently owned telephone company in NY with more than 12,000 business and residential customers. FLTG provides state-of-the-art voice, data and Internet solutions to business customers across New York State! Owen is interested in all aspe...cts of technology, which is why Finger Lakes Internship Program thought that this internship would be a good fit! While completing his internship, Owen will learn more about computers, software, and desk side support and will increase his skill sets in the field. He will be gaining valuable experience while preparing for his future career! Owen is currently working towards completing his degree at FLCC majoring in computer sciences, and with the additional IT internship experience under his belt, he will have a bright future in his desired field of work, Information Technology!

Candice is our newest success story at FLWIB! Candice is 19 years old and is
a Business major at FLCC. She is a hard worker and has earned an employee of
the month award in her part-time job! She has worked in retail and in a
health care facility where she gained customer service skills as well as
organizational skills. Candice is very driven and determined to become...
successful after graduation. She has a strong interest in accounting and
wanted to gain experience in the business field so she can one day become a
successful business leader. Candice also wants to improve her computer
skills, teamwork skills, and communication skills. Candice took the right
steps in gaining valuable experience in her field of interest by contacting
the Finger Lakes Internship Program. Candice is currently interning at
Boerman Tax where she is growing as a young professional.
