Visiting Artist, Jeff Pulaski, will speak about his work featured in the exhibit "Imperfect: Letterpress X3" on February 14, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in the Finlandia... Reflection Gallery. His work, as well as the work of two other letterpress artists will be featured in the gallery from February 6 to February 28, 2014. Come hang out with the Reflection Gallery staff! There will a Wii with MarioCart and Just Dance, other consoles, board games, and of course food. All Finlandia Students welcome! It will be held in the 2nd floor lounge off of the gallery.
The Finlandia University Reflection Gallery, Hancock, will be hosting Hidden Artists of Finlandia, an exhibit showcasing the artistic work of non-ISAD faculty and students on October 3rd.
This exhibit is to showcase the Finlandia University faculty and students who are not part of the International School of Art and Design. "With this show, Reflection Gallery is looking to tap into the talent pool housed outside of Finlandia's International School of Art & Design. We are welc...oming works in all mediums and genres, in an effort to showcase the hidden talents of our institution, while offering a venue for those who do not normally pursue exhibition opportunities." Says Phillip Faulkner, Faculty advisor of the Reflection Gallery.
An opening reception for the exhibit will be held at the gallery on Thursday October 3rd, from 12:30-1:30pm. The reception is free and open to the public; refreshments will be served.
