This was the second Easter we attended at Fire and Ice. Last year we opted to try another. That we will not discuss. Fire and Ice has a beautiful Easter dinner. We had our sons fiancé family join us ...they drive about hour or more. It was such a great experience. From great service to great food. Now there was such a variety that if you did not find something that would be a problem. I loved everything. The chef and owner making his presence known throughout was a pleasure. Our Taya was loving it all he gave her a chefs hat. For which now she will wear as we prepare dinner. We are going to make a point of visiting on a more regular bases for just getting out for a nice dinner and date nights. Love love this place. If I could give an extra five * I would. Tonight my wife and I finally got to have a Valentine's Dinner. Our waiter was very professional , kind , very aware of what the specials were , the veg, etc.. His service was very good . My wife h...ad the clay baked chicken parm , I had the monk fish , mussels, lobster special . We also both had house salads and shared a colossal shrimp cocktail, and of corse we had the fresh bread , love that hummus, wife choose the thyme honey butter, both salads were crisp and fresh, shrimp cocktail was good , entrees were piping hot and very good. Absolutely the worst meal I’ve ever had. Actually there were 13 ppl in our party & no one enjoyed our barely warm food. My children were served raw meatballs. I politely sent them back, asking the wai...tress for another order of well done meatballs. (The waitress was wonderful btw) The chef had her come back out to tell me that they were sautéed & then cooked in sauce for 45 minutes. Ok, they were still completely raw in the center. Even though I did graduate from culinary school in New York, you don’t have to be trained to see, & feel, that these meatballs were clearly undercooked. They then told me it would take a very long time to cook them well done and suggested chicken tenders. About 20 minutes later, the waitress came back with 4 meatballs in a cold casserole dish but they were firmer in texture & luke warm. My children ate half of them. Another hour later the waitress came back and said the chef said they were out of chicken fingers??? What?? I also had asked them to sub the spaghetti for French fries, not only did they charge us $17.99 for the raw & then barely warm meatballs, but they charged us for the fries too. 3 people at our table had the Gorgonzola risotto with shrimp. The only edible food on the plate was the shrimp & they were over cooked. The gorgonzola was too much, the rice was hard, whatever that dark red stuff was??? Was waaaaaay too overbearing & unpleasant looking. The plates were extremely hot & the food luke warm. The calamari appetizer was a joke. A total mess. Globs of WARM aioli on every corner, no dipping sauce. The $6 Caesar salad was anything but. Terrible dressing. The US just had a terrible life threatening outbreak of ecoli & you can see that the lettuce was not washed. The hearts of romaine were still in tact & dry as a bone. No one enjoyed their meal. I had mentioned two weeks before that we’re bringing a cake to celebrate. The waitress brought out the filthiest knife I have ever seen to cut it. I’m 99% sure it was dried, caked on fish. I and the other person in my party visited this place for the first time tonight and it wasn't what we expected. After our pizza appetizer which was good, we ordered entrees and the waitress whose nam...e was chars I believe asked each of us "soup or salad". I got a salad, the other soup.

My entree was lukewarm. Didn't see any steam coming off of it. The chef came out and said "apparently" we made a mistake, which gave me the intention that I was stupid and didn't know what I was talking about. After offering free desserts to us, we got our bill. There was a three dollar up charge for soup. Our waitress didn't even inform us that there would be this substitution charge when we she asked us soup or salad. She just said something to the sort of "yeah there is an extra for soup, sorry."

We had to get our food to go. The other person I was with didn't finish her French onion soup and she had a ton left. They brought out a really small container of it ...and what she had left definitely could have filled more than that. When we got out to our car, we noticed the one bad had food on the bottom of it because the one container wasn't secured tightly.

It's pretty ridiculous when you get told about an up charge after the fact it happened. We were told they pride themselves on their food but really do need to work on their service. Tell your customers about these up charges if they do in fact exist. We saw no where that it stated this. My food lacked the fire and we definitely got iced with
And unforeseen substitution charge weren't told about during the order.

Went for dinner tonight with my husband, the food wasn't great. I ordered French onion soup which was salty. I also ordered tuna with spinach and jasmine rice. The rice tasted like paste and the spina...ch was not seasoned, the tuna was decent. See More

Fire and Ice catered our wedding this weekend at the barn at glistening pond. I can honestly say I have never been so impressed in my life. Gary grilled the steak right on site. Every person that I sp...oke with that attended our wedding was asking who catered our event. Everyone said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. They described it as phenomenal. Some guest even said it was the best meal they've ever had in their entire life. It was worth every single penny. Hearing the guests complement the food the entire night, receiving text messages,calls just to say how absolutely amazing the food was felt great. The bartenders were spot on also. New Years Eve is always hard to plan for to go out. Most, if not all restaurants have special menus that are limited and expensive. This was the case At Fire and Ice except the menu had more than enou...gh choices for a four course meal. Price? Yes, pricey but the service, food, atmosphere, and the combination of 4 courses made it worth it. Nice job chef and staff. See More

Disappointing service and food. The beer battered haddock is all batter. Although the batter was good, I doubt there was 3 oz of fish between the three pieces. Waited over 5 minutes before the wait...ress even acknowledged us. Wine poured by grasping the neck of the bottle and table not cleared. She clearly had no idea what she was doing although she was pleasant. Menu not very appealing. Definitely not worth it. See More

Ordered flet menon med rare came out well. Ordered a lobster with it came out over cooked and tough. Sent back flet came back cooked ok but was so tough and stringy. Felt should not be so tough.. Wait...ress didn't seem to know what was up and didn't even bring the bread to our table. Not a good experience overall. Won't be back, 2nd strike.. See More
