This is an email I got at the blog's account. I thought those of you who are into writing/creating art might be interested in contributing to a new body image magazine:
***************************************
Hello, I've been reading First, Do No Harm for a while, and I really enjoy the forum you've created to share fat shaming experiences. I'm writing because I'm the editor of a literary magazine about body image and eating issues. I'm looking for more work about the fat exp...erience. I wanted to invite you and your followers to submit stories, poems and artwork to If and Only If: A Journal of Body Image and Eating Disorders. Check us out online at http://ifandonlyifjournal.wordpress.com/.

Cheers,
Yenn
Managing Editor
If and Only If: A Journal of Body Image and Eating Disorders

If and Only If seeks submissions of poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and art work for our inaugural issue to be published in Fall 2014. We are seeking works related to body image, the body, and eating disorders in all of their various definitions. Send up to five (5) poems, 6000 words of fiction/nonfiction, or three (3) images to Jennafur Parks and Yinka Rose Reed-Nolan at iffjournal@gmail.com by October 1, 2014. Please include a brief bio and your contact information along with your submission. If you prefer to remain anonymous, we will accept anonymous submissions and publish them under the name “Purple Fairy Dust,” or something similarly ridiculous.

All work should be submitted as an attachment. Written work should be submitted in .doc, .docx, or .pdf format. Visual submissions should be in .jpeg or .gif format.
