Recently pastor Chad Allen sent our staff an article about the reasons why people are coming to church less and less (see link at the bottom). The first two rea...sons relate to parenting choices. Now, I get it - I have one child that is not a huge fan of church and we are already starting to get the asks for Sunday activities. But as parents, we must put first things first in the life of our family - as hard as that may be. This morning, one of our interns shared this sermon with me from Matt Chandler. I cut out the section on the topic at hand as it was a direct challenge to me. I hope it challenges you as well.

Please be in prayer for our Guests, St...aff and Board as we determine next steps for our Shelter. We ask that you contribute what you can financially to us, as this tragic event will cost thousands to repair. You may contribute securely online at www.mckemieplace.org/donate. #homelessshelter City of Mobile
