Called and reserved a cabin over Christmas for 9 days. Two days later she called us and wanted us to take a a duplex and we said no we wanted the one we reserved. She said she didn't know why we wou...ld want a cabin for just the two of us and our dog. We called back a few days later to make sure we were getting the cabin we reserved and were told no and they had no other cabins available for us. She told my husband "sorry honey". She then called us later and offered us a room n the lodge and we said that wouldn't work with the dog. Worst customer service I have ever experienced! Will report them to the Better Business Bureau. After being a loyal customer for 18 years the new owner has no concept of customer service nor fisherman friendly. Jacked up rates, lost reservation, no parking place available . Has really gone down...hill dramatically from David and Sharon Seaton. Will not stay there again until the place sells to a new owner. See More

Excellent place. Stayed two nights with 10 year old and 5 year old grandson's to geocache in the area during their fall break. I hope to return during cooler weather when the poison ivy, snakes, and... yellow jackets are gone. See More

BEWARE ALL FISHERMEN!!! The new ownership and staff can not be trusted!!!! On a recent stay at FISHTAIL LODGE, during a storm a tree fell on my boat and truck!!!! As their crew was using chainsaws..., to cut the fallen tree off the truck and boat, they imeadiately told me not to worry!!! they would cover any and all the related damages!!!! After furnishing the requested repair quote, they continued to delay in allowing me to start the repair process!!!! They now clain the tree falling on my truck and boat was an ACT of GOD, and the FISHTAIL LODGE had no responseability to repair any of the damages!!!! It seems, the new ownership does not apperar to value keeping their committment to 35 year customer???? The old owners would have "Maned Up" and ptotected their customers!!!! See More
