I arrived a stranger and left as a friend. What great hosts, ...and the food! Words CANNOT describe the breakfasts, from the apple pancakes to eggs Benedict to the sausage gravy on biscuits (and we'...re not talking restaurant sausage gravy... but family recipe beginning with a roux!)....and I confess that I had fourths on Mel's sausage gravy... Yup! Put it on everything on my plate except the fresh fruit! I am sorry for you if you only stay one night, because I was fortunate enough to stay four very comfortable nights in a charming room and enjoy the very best of Southern hospitality with Andy & Mel ....what nice people! Our friends and family (3 couples) stayed for 3 nights and had 3 fabulous breakfasts and afternoon receptions. The service was first class and the rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The ex...perience was so much better than any hotel in the city. Hands down this was the best experience we could have dreamed of. Special thanks to the owners for taking such good care of our friends and family. They are already to book the same time next year! See More

My mom and her friend stayed here for 3 nights. The house is lovely, the food was amazing, and Mel and Andy are the best! I would highly recommend staying here!

Great place to stay! Very clean and beautiful old house. The owner is overly nice and went out of his way to help with anything. We will be going back.

Just got home from a FABULOUS two night stay to celebrate the New Year! This home is so elegant and beautiful! Mel and Andy outdid themselves! The hospitality was the best . It is hands down the ...most fabulous B & B we have ever stayed at!!!!!!!! And we have stayed in a lot of them. I give it 10 stars !!!!!!!!!! See More

The place is so spacious and captures period personality. The gentlemen who host you are so "real". We rented 3 bedrooms as 3 couples and had family meals that were so down home!!! I'm sure we will be back.

The Innkeepers are such pleasant hosts! The breakfast experience was very wonderful. Trying to plan another trip back. This Inn is close to walking into downtown. I love the community garden nearby. H...ope to see you all soon again! See More
