The Royal Burgh of St Andrews Community Council

The Rotary Club of Kilrymont St Andrews is looking for writers across three age groups to submit their fiction, non-fiction, story or poem - to demonstrate not ...only their writing skills but also their imagination and creativity.

This project is part of the Rotary Club’s involvement and engagement with Rotary across the UK.

The three age groups are 7-10, 11-13 and 14-17.

Winners of the local heats progress to each district and, if chosen, then represent their area in the national competition in the summer.

Each entry needs to be on one single A4 page and no more than 500 words in length. The theme of this year’s competition is

‘A Different Perspective’

and can be interpreted as each child chooses.

The Rotary Club is very keen to broaden awareness of this and other competitions being run this year for children as they are celebrating Scotland’s Year of Young People 2018 … #YoYP2018.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch. You can email or call the mobile - 07971581966 - of Simon Baldwin,
Director.
