This is trending on the number one spot on Naver: a group of middle school girls in Busan mercilessly beat up another girl so very badly, then goes online, send...s the very bloodied picture of the victim to her friend to brag about it. Infact, its become a national story, trending all over Korea. So much so that a petition has been set up, calling on President Moon Jae-in to abolish the Youth Protection act as it gives so much protection to young "psychopaths". The petition gained over 20,000 signatures in the first day it was written. The girls have been arrested and the Busan police are looking into it.

Today is White Day in South Korea, a special day when men give chocolates to the important women in their lives (similar to Valentine's Day). My husband gave me my White Day treats two days ago when we went grocery shopping. He told me not to expect anything today since he had given me my chocolates earlier. ^^

I found this pepero gift set on my dresser when I came home from work. For the first time in five years since we got married, it was only tonight that I received pepero from my husband. ^^ HAPPY PEPERO DAY to all my friends in Korea!
