Praying tonight for the women of the Bogo church in our Kenya village. May their faith continue to grow. Listen to their sweet voices praising the Lord.
We had a few rain delays at our women's meeting. The rain was so loud on the tin roof you could not hear the speaker. We prayed and asked for a break. That did not happen. So Deb said "Let's just sing and praise the Lord." So we did.
The children of Echoes of Mercy school praising the Lord. Pray for them today as they continue to grow in faith and wisdom.

Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; His understanding is beyond measure. —Psalm 147:5

Widows conference

2 Kings 4:1-7 New King James Version (NKJV)

Elisha and the Widow’s Oil
4 A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves.”

2 So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.”

3 Then he said, “Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors—empty vessels; do not gather just a few. 4 And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.”

5 So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out. 6 Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.”

And he said to her, “There is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased. 7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest.”

Waiting on the Lord is not always easy. I am learning to be still and listen. In this busy world that is a challenge.

It is not about us or what we do. It is about Him and what He did.

Praying today for our ministry partners at Echoes of Mercy Eom Kenya. The ministry continues to grow. It is so amazing to see what the Lord is doing here. Lives are being changed daily. Give a like to encourage them and let them know people care.

I find it amusing the way that people just cannot seem to get along. We are all different and have our quirks. If we were all the same, then it would be a world. Shirley told me the other day that I was "petting her peeve". I said, "Oh, am I getting on your last nerve???" There was a VERY long pause and a cold breeze blew through the room. I then asked her, "Now tell me how you want to be more like Jesus?????" LOL.

Peeps, we all must find a way to walk in love and extend grace to allow for the differences and frailities of each other.
