The view and the food were spectacular - just the almost-perfect ending to our first trip to NYC. The service and our wait staff were impeccable, really sweet and polite. However, my one grievance is ...unfortunately saved for the receptionist at the front, and this is crucial: she was dour and not welcoming. We didn’t have a reservation so it seemed she held that against us. While we had a nice window view, there was a pillar in the middle. There were plenty of tables on the other side of the restaurant, but she seated us there. The delicious food and kind waiters saved this experience for us. We are happy we went there, but we will never forget the chilly reception we got! See More

Our Uber driver missed our drop off and dropped us off one block over our original destination.. when GPS was inaccurate of the location of the restaurant...I called the restaurant to get directions.....and they weren’t helpful with directions on how to get to their own restaurant. I was walking all up and down street trying to look for the “office building”. Building 1250. When I finally found the get on the elevator to the 39th floor..we had already made a reservation. (Recommended). We only waited 5 mins for our table. Our table was window side with the view of the NYC! The view was amazing! I honestly thought the food was Mediocre, small portions. We ordered the combo #2 BBQ option, which included 4 pieces of duck breast (size of bite size), 4 pieces of chicken, 4 pieces of pawns, 4 pieces of pork belly...(all bite size) for $78. (Appetizers had larger portions)The waiter came and grilled it for us..the service was not so great! We were confused to who our waiter waiter took our drink order, and then another came and got our dinner orders, and then 3 rd waiter came and grilled our Korean was very confusing. The service was slow and the waiter was always disappearing from our table. The atmosphere was set up as a fancy 5 star restaurant except that you didn’t get the fancy service from your waiter. If you want the see a nice view of the city..and don’t mind paying for overpriced Korean food ,this is the spot to be! You are actually paying for the view not the meal. See More

The only thing keeping it from 4 stars it was really hot inside but the service was excellent and being in the business I rarely say this! He tried to respond to the heat and raising the sun shade ti...mely. The food was excellent definitely do the bbq at the table! See More

Great food and a wonderful space. I call it the Korean Rainbow Room...what great views of the city as you dine 39 floors in the sky. Be sure to save room for their special desserts!

This has been my forth time here and the food continues to be excellent. The staff is very professional and friendly. I really enjoy having the stone bowl Bibimbop. The view from the restaurant (39th ...Floor), is awesome at dusk. Will definitely recommend to friends. See More

Absolutely amazing food and the view at sunset was perfect! BBQ for 2 was just the right amount of food. I think I could eat the kimchee soup every day!

Great view and location but not the best Korean BBQ. Portion is tiny. $48 for rib eye is about 4 tiny bite size pieces. Overpriced but the view is nice. If you want true Korean BBQ. Go next door.

The place is top notch. Starting with having to be scanned to enter the building then taking a elevator ride to the 39th floor and walking out to an amazing view or bar, tables, and building thru the Now add the amazing food, great service, and wide drink menu makes this place a Top Choice for me now. It was my first time there and I will say with confidence it definitely won't be my last. See More

Amazing food, service, prices, and views. Only thing I'm bummed about is the fact that I've just discovered it after all of these years in NYC. Definitely going back! Best Korean BBQ restaurant in Kor...ea town 👍👍👍 See More

Besides the awesome view and the excellent Japchae - the food was bland. The duck I grilled had no seasoning and no sauce. Choice of sauce was only siracha, some lack of seasoning sesame oil with so...mething or some other sauce that was also lacking in flavor. My first course was Pork belly which tasteless. So tasteless that it was a good idea to grill it with my duck. Thank God for the kimchi vegetables served with it. But it wasn't phenomenal!

Dessert was a a thumb size thimble which they called financier. That was good with 1 piece sliced strawberry and a small culliere of ice cream.

It was good. But maybe. Ecause if the price they charge I am hesitant to give it a 4 star. I expect more on a 4-star rating. I stick to 3.

The food was good but the service was slow. We were a party of 7 so 4 of us ordered the BBQ steak and they cooked they steak for us and it was cool but by the time the rice came out we had no more mea...t to eat it with the waiter got annoyed with us because we kept asking for the rice and by the time they cooked the chicken that one of our party had ordered everyone was basically finished with there food. So like I said food was good but service was so so. I definitely won't be going there again. P. S the view was amazing the best part of the dinner. I think they should find a way to get everyone's food out at the same time. See More

The BBQ was tasty however there were things floating in my rice wine, which didn't settle well with me. So I informed the waiter, rather than look for himself (at the lint & pieces of wtvr in my cup),... he just kept asking again & again what was wrong with it (which irked me to the highest degree). The maitre' d kindly brought out clean cups and a fresh carafe of wine. Then I had to ask the waiter 3x for my Oban. Not to mention, we never got our bibimbap. Not a great first experience with Korean BBQ. I wish I listened to my colleagues & ventured to Flushing to have Korean BBQ. Slightly disappointed especially after a delicious meal & amazing service at Ai Fiori this week. See More
