Uncle Bob aka Robert Martin deserves more than $5k! If you read Fangoria, even if you started after Uncle Bob left the mag, you're benefitting for his tireless stewardship of the mag back then. Anything helps!
- Now playing! My first award winning horror short film The Killer Kra...pper is now available to view on my Vimeo page. I spoke about this short in my Gay of the Dead/Out in the Dark interview. While my later short films got gay, my first film revels in H.G. Lewis inspired splatter and T&A.
- Less than a year after my debut novel Hoarder was released, my secon...d novel Turkey Day is now available. This is my first novel that tackles LGBT issues, namely our fight for marriage rights and equality. A lot of sharp cutlery and giblets are involved. The paperback is available through Amazon and the Ebook through Smashwords, and LA readers can pick up a signed copy at Dark Delicacies in Burbank. Turkey Day - It's a great day for carving!
- Gay horror with some NSFW explicit stills in this review of my films from Boys, Bears & Scares - A Gay Horror POV.
I wanted to thank everyone who bought NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD in 2016! The book is doing well, and I'm very grateful. I have a small favor to ask--If you bought the book and enjoyed it, could I trouble you for a review on Amazon? I would be ever so grateful :) (Link in the comments!)
I know my moral compass may be a bit skewed, but I'm firmly Team These Victims! Check out my latest piece for Chiller TV! http://www.chillertv.com/f…/13-victims-who-didnt-deserve-it/
So someone edited me, and the "Gay of the Dead" blog, out of the Fangoria Feed wikipedia page. Nice try. "Gay of the Dead" was responsible for almost 50 interviews with gay horror filmmakers and actors. Tony gave me the gig, but that was all me. And it wasn't happening before, and certainly not after I left. At least not with the interviewees being identified as queer - an important fact for all those young, queer horror fans out there.
RIP George Kosana.
Another little tidbit I wrote for Chiller TV - 4th Sequels in Horror Franchises! http://www.chillertv.com/fr…/13-part-4s-in-horror-franchises
Hope to see you there!

Hello friends :) I have a favor to ask of you! I'll be signing my first novel, a new novelization of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, on Nov. 5 at Dark Delicacies in Burbank, CA. And I'm also doing all my presales via the bookstore's website as well. If y'all could "invite" people to this "event" who A) might be able to actually attend and/or B.) anyone you think would want to buy the book, even if they don't live in the area. You can do BOTH things via the link in the event. All books sold via the Dark Delicacies website will be signed by me, and then shipped to the buyer - easy! I would be forever grateful, and just might show my appreciation in an inappropriate way. It could happen!
I do so like to talk! Especially about myself! The nonstop promotional cavalcade for my NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD novelization continues (link to buy in comments!) But I also talk about Dark Delicacies, Tales of Poe, Bart Mastronardi, Alan Rowe Kelly, Michael Varrati, Joe M Castro, Terror Toons 3, and The Summer of Massacre! That's a lot of things! Give it a listen. (Thanks again Patrick K. Walsh and ScreamQueenz Horror Podcast!) http://screamqueenz.com/163-author-sean-abley-night-of-the…/
At long last this terrific film is available for general consumption via Wild Eye Releasing! In a crowded DIY horror landscape, TALES OF POE is a truly original piece of cinema. I was lucky enough to see it on the big screen at the world premiere here in LA ages ago, and since then it burned up the festival circuit and rightfully so. Bart Mastronardi, Alan Rowe Kelly, Michael Varrati, Caroline Williams, Joe Zaso (just to name the few I know personally) and company have created something really special. There will be DVD signings in LA (Oct 25 at Dark Delicacies) and NYC (Oct 26 at Forbidden Planet), and if you're not local to those, you can just buy it on DVD/VOD Amazon and Amazon Prime. (Link in the comments.) Check out the trailer, then support indie filmmaking!
Super excited to announce the pre-sales for my first novel, NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD - A new novelization by Sean Abley, based of the film "Night of the Living Dead," screenplay by George Romero and John A.
