In the fashion world of many silhouettes and aesthetics, it's becoming a hard thing to discern item's on the crowded racks and "on trend" mannequins. Luckily fo...r us, Steve Guthrie and Vcheri have a little eye candy to help us along the right path. The hardest part about this, is that it's more than just fit. I cannot praise Gen’s Antiques highly enough! Mind you, I very, very rarely write on-line reviews, but in this case I feel I cannot remain silent. First (if not foremost),
Gen really enjoys what he do...es at a deeply visceral level, and this is obvious in every aspect of how he runs his business. But that is only the beginning. Gen is highly expert in his chosen field of antique furniture, which translates into an unmatched selection of high-quali ty merchandis e. Gen is also highly personable — from the moment you enter the store you feel the easy-going but focused sales environmen t. Gen customizes his treatment of every customer in a manner rarely seen in these times of corporate megabusine ss. His friendly canines complete the picture of a highly approachab le and stress-fre e buying experience . Finally, Gen’s delivery personnel treat every piece of furniture with utmost care and respect, and would not hear of leaving my home until every last screw had been tightened and every detail was neatly in place. (And believe me, this is not the first time I’ve dealt with delivery persons!) In summary, if you visit just one antique store, it absolutely should be Gen’s Antiques. Meyerland, Houston, Texas.
I'm not biased when I say that Gen's Antiques - Greg & Gret too - they ARE Gen's, is a phenomenal
store. The prices are quite reasonable , and from just being an observer, customer service is number on...e. ALWAYS hospitable . And all the artists from First Saturday Arts Market just love them. And how cool is this - they're open every night til about 7:30!
