I have been going out to the barn for I think a year. My girls have learned so much more than before. My youngest step daughter has gotten a outer look of how a horse can build your confidence inside... yourself. What a horse can bring out by just giving you love back for what you are as a person . I am so thankful every time I go out to this amazing place and the people who keep it running. Afficher la suite

I haven't been there. I have seen the pictures and videos and the owners seem so caring and loving to the animals there....

They pour their heart and soul into saving horses. Their passion is admirable. They are thankful for any help and were so pleasant to be around. I was so happy to work with Holly and I definitely will... be willing to work with more horses to help them find homes. You guys are amazing for what you do. Afficher la suite

We adopted Copper from this rescue. He has turned out to be quite an amazing horse. Very easy to work with the gals that run this facility. So quick to respond to all our questions. May all your effor...ts be blessed for the kindness you give to these horses. Afficher la suite

This is an amazing rescue and an amazing group of people. When they were brand new, they took on a rescue project and placed 41 Morgans in less than two weeks. GSH, you are the best!

This rescue provided a home for an elderly mule I was unable to keep, due to unforeseen life changes. I am forever indebted to them.

RACHEL

Rachel is a sweet, curious mare who is ready to move onto her next phase of training. Rachel is catchable and halter broke and working on lunging and ba...sic ground work when she comes in. She also loads well onto a trailer and ties. While she will continue to need corrective trims for her front feet due to neglect before intake this girl is sound and loves running all over her pasture and her x-rays of her feet came in clean. At 7 years old or so, Rachel is ready to start under saddle. Also know as the Barbie horse this girl has a mane and foremane that goes forever. Rachel is from the International Society for the Protection of Mustangs and Burros, and came to GSH in November of 2016 during a crisis at ISPMB involving county impoundment and seizure, overcrowding and lack of resources, with her 2016 foal Hamilton.
