I love my church ❤️ I love being in the bell choir & the choir with everyone! They're such wonderful people to be around and as a young lady (the only young lady in each choir) I do look up to them. W...e keep each other on our toes and we laugh a lot! This church is one big family and it's so open and inviting! The office staff are so sweet and helpful, gotta love our sweet Marjorie and sweet Mel! Pastor Gary & Mrs. Myra are awesome people! They're so nice and inviting and wonderful, godly people! GUMC is a family! All of us are broken people, seeking Jesus Christ in a broken world. Through him we are made perfect! It's such a warm, friendly place! I love my church family. God bless everyone!

It’s time for our next women’s evening bible study! We are going to do Beth Moore’s brand new 6-week... bible study called “The Quest.”

“The crooked punctuation mark at the end of a sentence speaks of curiosity, interest, and perhaps doubt. A question is an invitation to vulnerability, to intimacy. In this six-week excursion with Jesus, Beth Moore uses questions from Scripture to lead you into intimacy with the One who knows you best. Learn to dig into the Word, to respond to the questions of God, and to bring your questions before Him. Let the crooked punctuation mark be the map that points you into a closer relationship with the Father.”

- Learn to pray to promote intimacy with God.
- Explore questions and responses from the Bible.
- Track your quest by journaling along the way.
- Learn to read and respond to Scripture.

When: 1-16-18 to 2-20-18 – Tuesdays
Time: 6:30 to 8:30 pm in Fellowship Hall
Cost: $12.99 for member book
