Dear Global Civil Society – LSE...

The world embracing alternate paradigm in development Tarit Datta Gupta – Mary Kaldor hypothesis: Integrated Relations among Global Governance, Global Civil Society and Human Security Is Complete Life underscores that the highest form of democracy with the people as the nucleus in development is the given first layer of defense from the onslaught of the opportunist in the internal environment of or external environmental approaching the sub-regional nation-state. The highest form of democracy moving parallel in the growth process of the uninterrupted (open) highest form of capitalism with the supreme flavor and spirit of egalitarian is anticipated to address universally accepted three fundamental elements of democracy “for, of and by’ the people. The three fundamental elements: ‘for, of and by’ the people will gain supreme status because (people) will become the most active participants demonstrating synonym behavior in development with the market, sub-regional nation-state and civil administration. The right or left deviation in synonym behavior among the people, sub-regional nation-state and civil administration shall and will be held back by functional Global Civil Society institutionalized with their supreme transparency and accountability to the people. People working as both consumers and producers of goods and/or services in consonance with the requirements of the markets and sub-regional nation-state; in other words the sub-regional nation-state and market will also work as both consumers and producers of goods and/or services ‘for’ the people. Tarit Datta Gupta (tarit), Dhaka, Bangladesh and PhD Candidate – LSE [Quoted from the world embracing alternate paradigm in development Tarit Datta Gupta – Mary Kaldor hypothesis: Integrated Relations among Global Governance, Global Civil Society and Human Security Is Complete Life] [sub-regional nation-state and nation-state interchangeably used].

Raoul Dufy’s painting of the Promenade des Anglais has made the rounds on Twitter since the Bastille Day attack. I have always loved the combination of elegance and joie de vivre expressed in the picture.

Lessons from Brexit for a Whole-of-Society approach
The Brexit vote showed how challenging it is to bridge divides in societies which have become polarised not under conditions of violent conflict, but also in apparently settled western liberal democracies. But Brexit also shows how necessary it is to recognize these divides and give people back a stake in politics, and improve the local ownership of policies.
