Holiday kudos to Danielle,Paige and Kelly for all of their hard work putting together the Golden Pond tree. A wonderful event which will raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for some very worthy charities! We are proud to be a part of the event and encourage everyone to check it out at the Hathaway Center in Waterville.

The charitable event features 70 trees and gifts worth thousands of dollars, to be given away at end of the festival at the Hathaway Creative Center.

The Golden Pond Wealth Management Building was built in 1937 by Dr. and Mrs. Pomerleau, although Dr. Pomerleau’s practice was downtown, he would frequently meet with patients right here at the office. Occasionally we will have a client come in to meet with Brian or Bert and listen as they reminisce on their childhood memories of visiting Dr. Pomerleau here at the office.
Not only do our clients come into the office and remember how the building once was; we had a surprise vis...itor recently. Dr. and Mrs. Pomerleau’s daughter Susan and her daughter Alisha, made an impromptu visit to Waterville, Maine.
As we were giving Susan and Alisha a tour of her renovated childhood home, I enjoyed listening to her stories; what each room once was, stories of her siblings, holidays and especially stories of her parents. I was so happy to finally be able to ask the questions that no one would be able to answer but the Pomerleaus themselves.
It was a pleasure to have met you Susan and Alisha, come back again soon!

We found 88% of surveyed CFP® professionals believe all advisors should be held to the fiduciary standard, and 92% agree with CFP Board's priorities, in the latest from Financial Advisor IQ. We're proud to advocate for the gold standard of financial planning.

As the ranks of certified financial planners continue to grow, more CFPs are very satisfied with their career choice, according to a recent survey from the CFP Board. And the vast majority of them think everyone in the business should be a fiduciary.

Turning back the clock to 1993. A client who has been with us from the very beginning shared this picture from a copy of my old newsletter with us last week. It made for a lot of laughs and reminiscing in the office. A special thank you to those of you who put your faith and trust in this baby faced, poofy haired financial adviser! By the way—the Dow finished 1993 at 3794!#TBT
