Hey Olympia! We are coming to your fine town this evening for a (somewhat) rare out of town show, and Voycheck and Post/Boredom are coming along too. Also, I Dream Of VVitches will be playing this ALL AGES show that kicks off nice and early. All that event info is in the comments.

Demian Johnston to Seattle Music Gear Swap and Sale

Posting these again because last time a couple people who were interested and had to cancel and then I went on tour. Back now and looking to part with a couple ...cabs. Verellen 2x12 cab — $400 this one is awesome. I used it most for solo guitar shows. It has some scuffs from transporting but I probably only played about 10 shows total with it. I’m pretty firm on the price and would prefer cash (as I need to sell this to pay for the studio we are using for recording) but I’d be happy with Half the cash/Trade for an interesting pedal. Count to 5 delay, earthquaker, electo-Faustus, etc... it has WGS British lead speakers 80watts each/8ohms... there is a picture in the comments below.
Also selling a straight Marshall 1960 4x12 — $250 I just have too many cabs. This one has been loved a bit but it’s just your standard work horse. It’s good. Thanks.

Seattle bands: Who wants to share our practice room with us? We are in a space in Belltown that Shane and I have been in for almost 16 years... fucked up. Anyhow, we need roommates ASAP and would like you to come join us. The cost for half the room is $375 a month. Our last roommates had two drum sets in there comfortably. We don't really care how many people practice in there as long as everyone is pretty cool. We practice Monday and Saturday evenings. We sometimes ask for a...nother night here and there but that's about it. Street parking is free after 8pm so we usually go in then. Most nights noise needs to stop around 11pm though. We have a PA and a small fridge that anyone can use. We are real close to the loading area, which is nice for shows and it has a scary loft. You can email demian (me) demianfeelsgreat (at) gmail (dot) com

Thanks to everyone that came out last night and helped raise money for Planned Parenthood. It's nice that in times like this we can all do something so small as to play music and hang with our friends and still help the good guys. Great Falls tried out four new songs last night from the record we are recording this fall/winter. More news on that soon. We are not sure if we should mention where we are recording this lp (Red Room & Witch Ape) or who is recording it (Scott Evans) but we will announce all that soon. We will probably not be playing many shows between now and the first of the year but we do have a couple booked. We will try to keep you updated. Thanks to Post/Boredom & Old Iron. We love them and you should too.

Tonight at Cafe Pettirosso! Starts early, ends at 11 with Old Iron and Post/Boredom.

These Monday night shows at Cafe Pettirosso that Jodi is doing have been crazy good, and now we are playing one. With other crazy good bands, for a crazy good cause. That is indeed crazy, and you're crazy if you miss it. We will be playing all new material too, which we think you might enjoy. See you Monday with Old Iron, and Post/Boredom. Event link and info in the comments.
