Q: How many therapists are in this picture?
A: TWO! Julie Poppo-Minnick, a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant and Peppy, a specially selected and trained horse, work together to utilize Peppy's movement to achieve functional outcomes for children. This is called #hippotherapy and Green Hill is the only place in the Louisville area to provide this year-round to children.

Congratulations to our former volunteer and Equine Team Member, Susanna Diller on her Jefferson Community & Technical College Level 2 Fieldwork placement at Green Hill. Susanna will graduate this spring with her Occupational Therapy Assistant degree.
"I am so excited to do my fieldwork at Green Hill. It's an opportunity to combine my love for helping people with my love for horses and I get to learn the clinical side whereas before I worked on the equine side. This is a great opportunity for me to combine my passions," said Susanna.
Green Hill also has fieldwork partnerships with the following schools as we work to promote the field of occupational therapy: Spalding University, Indiana University, The Ohio State University, University of Louisiana System and Indiana University Southeast
