I have only eaten there once, but I will definitely be back. I had the chilaquiles with beans and tortilla soup. It was very delicious and flavorful. The only t...hing that could have made it better would have been a bigger Plate!
The waiter helped me through the menu explaining all their offerings and gave me his recommendations and came back to check on me at least 4 times . Very Clean establishment and a great menu of delicious dishes!!! If your in the area of Blanco and 410 I highly recommend you stop in ,and if your not in the area , Get yourself in the area!!! ok, it was loud. It's a family owned and family friendly restaurant. If you want hushed dining in hushed tones, go to Biga's on the Banks. This place is loud, i...t is tasty, it is very, very good. The prices for food are very reasonable and the quality is outstanding. The people that run it and their employees are GREAT.

That being said, their neighbors aren't that. DO NOT park on the, in my opinion racist, prinz (german for prince - what a lark) shopping center, even after the stores are closed. The jealousy and greed runs deep in those people and they will have you towed. As they did my car.

Is it annoying - yes.

Is it robbery - yes.

Will it keep me from going back - nope

Guajillos doesn't deserve to be on the recieving end of a policy that hurts their business and would profit the others also. Guajillos serves their neighborhood with good, wholesome food and lends families a place to get together... عرض المزيد

The server we got was horrible. As I was walking to my car he come out screaming that I had taken the signed copy of my receipt. I told him I had left it on t...he table and he made a face like if I was lying. As he walked back in I saw anothrr server waving my receipt at him. No apology whatsoever. I did not appreciate being screamed at or being treated as if I was trying to run off without paying. I called in to complain and supposedly they said they would take care of it. Highly doubt it. This is the third time I have gone in there and get these servers that act like I'm asking for free service. That will be the last time I set foot there! عرض المزيد

NOT AUTHENTIC MEXICAN food!

BORN and RAISED Mexican here folks....

I am very surprised with the high praise to this place. I chose to visit this restaurant because of it and the Zagat rating, but was truly disappointed. The Mole poblano tasted like the one my mom would make from a jar. The Horchata and Tamarindo Aguas frescas where made from instant powder (our waiter corroborated this) and tap water (San Antonio's tap water has a funky taste, and purifying it is a must to get rid of the taste).
The rice was instant white rice, the refried beans tasted like the dehydrated beans my family keeps in our food storage and everybody's food was closer to cool than to hot.
My family of five ordered: Mole poblano (unimpressive), Mahi with shrimp on top (the fish was dry, even with the generous sauce on top); Bacalao (cod) (the sauce was too spicy (hot) to enjoy the fish; Enfrijoladas ("they ain't like mama fixed 'em" was pretty much what my son had to say about them) and a cheese quesadilla for the 6 year old (he liked that one).
The reviews also indicated that the place was fairly inexpensive. Well, $95 is not inexpensive for our family, especially when we couldn't eat nor drink 50% of the total order.
The service was good, but not good enough to justify another try. This is a no repeat for our family. عرض المزيد

My husband and I stopped by to eat lunch, celebrating our 5th Anniversary! The food was delicious and Carlos the owner and staff showed great hospitality! Anytime we visit in San Antonio, we will stop to eat! #gospursgo

The quality of the food and service always exceeds expectations. I live in GA, and I had such a good experience in this restaurant at my first time there, that I always make it a point to come back and visit whenever I'm in town. Thank you, everyone for always delivering your absolute best!

I didn't realize how much this restaurant was in need of money. They steal from their own customers. 2 of my friends and I went to have lunch. I then ordered a ...soup to go, I was never given the soup (there was plenty of time)and when I called I was told that I didn't get it from the front where it had been sitting all this time. I was told I couldn't get credit for it either. I could go back for it but I explained that it was completely out of my way. They said they couldn't do anything about it. The lady I was speaking to hung up on me so I called back. The manager Carlos Barajas (he spelled out his name like if I didn't know how to spell it) answered and told me a whole different story he said that the soup was ready after I left and it was my responsibility to get my soup. I told him if I was sitting down having lunch that soup should have been brought to me. When I asked him for the lady's name he refused to give it to me stating it wasn't important. I told him it was important since she felt that she could talk to me that way and hang up on me. It's amazing how this restaurant didn't accept any of the responsibility for not giving me my to go order they said it was my fault for not getting it. They have no idea what is going on in people's lives and they should not be arguing with the customer when their job is to serve what was ordered. عرض المزيد

The food at this place is authentic, not like other Tex Mex places. I recommend the Chilaquiles with Asada and the salsa has a true Mexico taste.
The owners a great people as well, very clean and great service.

Fabulous authentic Mexican food. It's quite a surprise when you first realize the Mexican you've been eating has been wrong all this time. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

Absolutely wonderful authentic Mexican food. So far I have tried 4 dishes and have enjoyed each one: mole, green mole, poblano quesidia, beans over chicken and rice. Definitely a must try In San Antonio.

Our hotel suggested we eat at Rosario's, but when we went we discovered it was closed Sunday a quick google search led us to Guajillo's. We loved it through an...d through. Parking was well marked which impressed me. Quick easy seating. Quick service. The salsa was quite possibly the best tasting salsa we've ever had. And it burned a hole in us later that night! Whoo! Hot! But delicious. My husband had albondigas and cleaned his plate. I had chiloquiles with steak and loved them. We were impressed with everything. I downed two delicious margaritas without even thinking about it and they were just so smooth and delicious. I highly recommend this place for delicious authentic foot. LOVE the food here!! Chilaquiles, Cochinita Pibil, Alambre, and al Pastor are all fabulous. Their fideo is also a hit with my son, which is high praise. Can't wait to come back!

Service was terrible ... Food ok - restrooms were horrible - did not wanted my child to seat on those toilets .... The whole place needs cleaning and better service overall -
