This is the 17th medical mission to Dominican Republic. The work these doctors and specialists do in Dominican Republic is remarkable. Mya God continue to Bless them with health and energy.
Others who made this effort possible include: Miosotis Cabrera Diaz and "Fundación Miositis Cabrera", Despacho de la Primera Dama de la República Dominicana, Amigos Emprendedores Alexis Fermin y el Consulado Dominicano en Nueva York
This should be interesting. Let's see what happens!
This is so unjust. Puerto Rico is been treated as if it's not part of the United States. We must continue keeping Puerto Rico in the conversation because as I write and you read this, thousands of Puertoricans are homeless, with no electricty, and no food.
Apparently this is the only way NYCHA fixes the problems (or some of them). It is shameful. NYCHA needs change from the top.
Hoy celebramos el 174 aniversario de la Independencia de mi madre Patria, República Dominicana. Que Viva nuestra República Dominicana 🇩🇴
Today we celebrate the 174th anniversary of my home country’s independence. Que Viva nuestra República Dominicana 🇩🇴
... and meanwhile, those who live in NYCHA buildings continue with no heat, hot water, no repairs, lead, no security cameras, very poor maintenance ... should we continue?
Until the leadership changes, starting from the top, not much will change!
As it should have been ... The sad part is that had this fallen soldier not have died saving others, his sacrifice for keeping all of us safe from enemies overseas, he would have been just another soldier who fought for us.
We need to recognize and treat all of our soldiers with fairness. Approximately 50,000 veterans are homeless (at least that's the info that is made public). No veteran should be living in the street - not single one!
Many of us are off today, enjoying time at home, with family and/or doing personal errands. The sad part is that many have no idea why we are off and the meaning of President's Day. Check out the link below and know the history behind today!
While I agree that Rikers should be closed down, I also believe that the officers MUST be protected!
PLEASE PRAY FOR TH FAMILIES OF THOSE KILLED ... and let's make sure we pray for our kids' safety.
This would have never happened under a President like @barackobama or any other President which truly cares about the future of this country. Separating families stands against the principle of our foundation. It is very saddening and concerning that this President ignores that America has been, is and always be home to immigrants from all over the globe. #SupportDACA
