As stockmen, the greatest accomplishment is watching your genetics be successful. Class 7 at San Angelo was certainly exciting for us, as our bucks(all raised at Halfmann Livestock) sired the 1st, 2nd and 3rd in class. Even more impressive is that the class winner went on the be named Reserve Middle Weight. Congratulations to Matthew Halfmann, Bailee McAlister, and Emma Lathem.

Congratulations to our friends Pfeiffer Farms, and to the Matthew Halfmann Family for being named Reserve Champion Middle Weight at San Angelo. This wether was sired by “Haymaker”, our partnership buck with Pfeiffer.
Congratulations to Dakota “Coco” Martin on having the Reserve Champion Light Weight Wether at the San Angelo Stock Show. “Baby Cade” sold as Lot 1 in our August Sale, and is one of the most unique projects we’ve produced up to this point. In fact, be on the lookout for photos and information to drop on his twin brother, one our keeper bucks, later in the month. Once again, thanks to the Martin Family for their continued belief in our program, and good luck the rest of the maj...or show season.

Great day at the Angelo doe show for Halfmann Livestock. Cydnee Hanslik was Reserve Grand, and Costin Allison also made the sale. We think these are two does that will certainly leave their mark and are bred in the purple. These does will sell tonight at 6pm at the fairgrounds in San Angelo. If you’ve got any questions about the stock, or to place a bid, give me a call (432)270-5565. More information on the does under their pictures....

Gotta take a minute to brag on Jamie Bloomberg-Halfmann....... Matthew James Carrigan and I are gone breeding does tonight, and we have a handful of Recips left to kid. Jamie got a chance to pull her first baby (head first, no legs) tonight, with the help of the concrete crew that’s still there finishing the pad for the new barn. It takes a full-family effort to do this business, and we’ve got a pretty good one.......
I caught these pics from my phone via the barn camera.......
