HAPPENING TONIGHT: We're happy to welcome officials from the Indiana State Police for a presentation about how to keep your children safe online.

Join us tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the Doe Creek Middle School cafeteria.

Indiana State Police will be at Doe Creek Middle School Wednesday, January 17th, to host a presentation about the potential dangers and consequences of social media.

MISSING MAN: Police say 78-year-old Larry Gold walked away from a residence on Gunnery, which is near W. 79th Street, just west of I-465.

He's wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans, but does not have his glasses on, police said.

July 14th, 2017

On July 13th, 2017, just after midnight Officers of the Fortville Police Department responded to a report of a sexual assault.... The Fortville Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the suspect: SAMUAL CRAVENS, a 38 year old white male, who is 5’10” tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. Cravens has brown hair and hazel eyes. Cravens was last seen in Maxwell Indiana walking away from his job towards a wood line wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans. Cravens currently has two Felony 1 warrants for child molest and one Felony 4 warrant for child molest out of Hancock County. If located please call your local police department or if in Hancock County, Indiana call the Hancock County Emergency Operations Center at 317-477-1144. No further information will be released due to the fact the victim is a minor.

...The Anderson Police Department is investigating the abduction of three children from Anderson, Indiana. Anderson, IN is approximately 44 miles north east of Indianapolis, IN.

Adyson Rindahl is a 2 year old white female, 31 inches tall, 30 pounds, brown collar length hair, blue eyes, and was last seen wearing a white polka-dot shirt and diaper.

Peyton Rindahl is a 2 year old white female, 31 inches tall, 30 pounds, brown collar length hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a pink halter top and diaper.

Jayden Rindahl is an 8 month year old white male, 27 inches tall, 22 pounds, blonde curly hair, brown eyes, and last seen wearing a diaper.

The children were last seen at 2:00 pm EDT in Anderson, IN and are believed to be to be in extreme danger.

The Anderson Police Department believes the children were abducted by Blake Rindahl, 28 years old, 5 feet 11 inches tall, 215 pounds, short brown hair, and blue eyes.

The suspect vehicle is a Silver 1995 Oldsmobile Aurora, with Minnesota Plate 399VED.

Hancock County Sheriff's Department added 2 new photos.

Students representing Eden Elementary School stopped by the Sheriff's office today. The students were able to spend a few minutes chatting with Major Burkhart as they gave him goody bags for our Deputies as well as dog treats for our K9's, thanking them for all they do for the community.

Prayers going out to the Shirley Police Department and Chief Pryor, they were an excellent team and we had the pleasure of working with them on several cases.

It is with deep sadness this morning to share, Chief Brian Pryor of Shirley Police Department lost his partner this morning at 7:10am. K-9 officer Charon passed... away in Chief Pryor's arms at their residence. If you see some slow moving patrol vehicles with lights on, please offer a moment of silence as it will be for Charon's escort this afternoon. Charon you will be missed and we will take the watch from here!
