Unfortunately I had to give one star to leave a review else I would have rated no stars. The restaurant has horrible service. Actually pretty much no service. We should have known it was going to b...e bad when after 20 minutes of a no show server the hostess had to take our drink order. A half hour later our server made an appearance and took our order. Coleslaw and rolls would be right out. Well that never arrived. Our server did make a brief appearance at another table fixing an apparent wrong check, they had been charged for drinks they had ordered but never received. It took half an hour to get their bill fixed. The woman commented that while they were there 2 tables had left because their server never showed up. Almost as bad as our server not showing up was the other servers seeing we weren't being served but never offered to serve our table. And no, they weren't busy. There were only 4 tables with customers in the entire restaurant. After an hour we left. There is no excuse for such poor service and we will not be back. See More

I hated it, I think !
We were seated and given menus. After waiting at least 15 minutes, during which 3 waitress walked passed us without stopping, we got up to leave.
Two of the waitress stood in th...e room talking together but never made a move toward us.
We know that they were not busy as we were the only customers in the room.
We came to Harrison's because we enjoyed it the last time we came up from Florida.
NEVER AGAIN !

Was really excited about going for the seafood buffet on Saturday night. We went last night and were totally disappointed. The hostess gave us menus and took us to a table. There were three other tabl...es occupied in the dining room. We sat and waited for about 15 minutes while three servers took care of the other tables. At this point we were very hungry so we decided to just start at the buffet instead of ordering off the menu. My husband and I both got a plate of food (there was no one there to cut the meat so we skipped that). We sat at our table and finished our entire meal with no one ever coming over and nothing to drink. When we were finished the meal I went back to the hostess who was chatting with a friend and told her we had still not had any service but would like to pay for our meal. Eventually a server came over and said "would you like something to drink or just the check?" No apology or acknowledgement. Needless to say we left no tip and will not be going back there again. We came by Boat on the last day the dock bar was open for the season. Great Orange Crushes and my grapefruit crush was really good. My wife is very picky and she loved the crab soup and hush puppies. ...I couldn't eat all my whole sandwich. Will definitely return next season See More

So delicious! The place was empty on a gloomy Saturday so our expectations were pretty low. We were pleasantly surprised at how fresh, hot and delicious everything was. Our server was pleasant and ...gave us the perfect amount of attention. The views of Harrison creek and the Choptank were awesome. See More

Quaint, plenty of seating, nice little dock bar outside. That was the highlight of the place.
Came for dinner on mother's day, had reservations, but they weren't needed, the place wasn't busy. Could ...choose the buffet or menu. The buffet was not full and not very appealing, so chose to order off their menu. Come to find out the lobster tails were gone, then they came out and the fillet mignon was gone, these were the specials. So moving on we ordered....Food came out over an hour after we ordered. Again, they were not busy!
Scallops were hard, crab cakes were full of shells and sand, delmonico was over cooked, rockfish stuffed with crab meat, $10 extra for the crab meat, which was about two ounces, the manager said it was supposed to be four ounces as he pushed it around the plate looking for it. Everything was sent back. Very disappointing. Manager/owner didn't really care and took our food off the bill. Won't be back.

Service is very slow and crabs were not seasoned, very bland. We had to ask for the side items that came with the "all you can eat" because they failed to serve them to us. Unfortunately, we will no...t be returning and will go elsewhere to eat steamed crabs. See More

The place to go for Chesapeake Bay seafood, though it's a two hour drive from Washington or Baltimore. Try their oyster buffet on Friday nights. Oysters are served eight different ways, all delicious.

I was very disappointed in my meal today. Waiter was inattentive and slow. The restaurant was not busy, yet my order came out to me incorrect. My partner's shrimp were overcooked and extremely salty.... Lima beans were inedible. French fries were barely cooked through. I hate to say it, but the best part of my meal was the water. However, the restaurant itself is in a great location and beautiful. See More

Choosing to come to Harrison's for the Thanksgiving Buffet was one of the best decisions I have made! Miss Betty's home-style food was excellent and was reminiscent of past Thanksgivings spent with f...amily. The staff and server were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, too!
Kudos to all at Harrison's for keeping the family dining traditions alive!

The seafood is fresh and delicious. Last visit I had the twin lobster tails and they were cooked to perfection. The Watermelon Crushes were top notch also.

A lovely family. Most on the staff have been part of
" Harrisons Family" over 20 years.
Nothing fancy, but an amazing view, s very " comfy" feel & the seafood buffet this evening was outstanding....
Offered in the Winter, on Friday evenings.
The raw oysters delicious, freshly caught , from the Bay.
A feel as if you are visiting an elderly relative.
Nice clean room, but perhaps a little old in other areas..
Our 22nd year & we look forward to returning..

It was nice sitting on the water at the open air bar. Food and Bloody Marys were good and the bartender was very personable.
