So very sad news..Thanks for letting us know Dan
The reunion is NOT cancelled...it will still take place at O'Gara's this Sat. The only change is we will not have any Hors d'oeuvres provided because of the low RSVP count. You will need to purchase any food or drink you may want..So just show up and have fun!
We currently only have FOUR RSVP's in for our reunion next weekend. I am suppose to give O'Gara's a final count for food by the end of this week..with these results..seems cancelling might be the option
Hill Murray will be sending out save the dates and invites for pre-payment of $20 prior to the date. But please respond to this event if you plan on attending..
I checked into O'Gara's, and the only date in Sept that is available for the room we would want is Sept 26..how does that date sound to everyone? Also..I would need some volunteers to help with checking people in on the night of event, if we decide to go with pre-paying to the school..probably $20.
After the email was sent out to our class of 80 I received one email with an offer of help. Hill Murray has offered to assist in any way and have suggested O'Gara's on Snelling Ave as an option. I guess other classes have used the venue before. They would send out invites for us, and the cost would be $20 a person.
Otherwise my other thought is just picking a place as I mentioned before, and people just show up and buy your own. PLEASE please I am looking for some suggestions here. I was left on my own with our last reunion to make all decisions and plans..so input is appreciated!!
Good to see some additional likes on our page! Please share this page and invite others to join our class of 80 page! Would love to get more people from class of 80 to contribute ideas for our reunion this year..It's that time again
It's that time again, and time to start thinking of our reunion..35 this year! Wow!
Instead of collecting money ahead of time and renting out a place, what are your thoughts on just meeting at a bar/restaurant this year? Make it simple..
Suggestions I have received are WA Frosts patio, Rooftop at the Liffey, or maybe somewhere in Stillwater..Any thoughts? comments? ideas?
