I love Ft Worth history! My family is from there. My Great Grandfather, Col. J.W. Burgess, was one of the founders of the Stockyards and also of the Stock Show!

I'm Fort Worth's biggest fan! Born, bred and buttered here! And I know (almost) all about it. But I keep learning. I know where Luke Short and Longhair Jim Courtright are buried! ALmost right next to ...each other and they HATED each other! See More
