Even though #BarbaraBush was 92, the world will miss her, her wit & candor. Taking on a traditional role ad first lady, she devoted her tenure to literacy & no animal lover can forget her dog Millie & puppies, the mascots of her time in the WH. She will go down in #history as the 2nd First Lady & mother of a president.

Even as I worked there, readers complained of the lack of women featured. I felt grateful, but I soon could understand the complaints, as a young undergraduate and a man soon eclipsed me and I was pushed down and out. Although the sitting president is usually the #Gallup poll’s most admired for the year, this year is it is not the case. Former President #BarackObama beat out President #DonaldTrump as the most admired man in the 2017 edition, while 2016 Democratic presidential nominee #HillaryClinton remains the country’s most admired woman. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump came in a close second but missed the honor most sitting presidents experience.
