We are looking forward to singing this weekend, and what God has in store for The Glorymen. Sunday Morning, January 29, 2017 we will be singing at Holly Spring...s Baptist Church, in Holly Springs, NC beginning at 11:00AM. Sunday evening, January 29, 2017 we will be singing at Hillcrest Baptist Church located in Raeford, NC beginning at 6:00PM. If you can, join us!
Many of you may know by now that both Elizabeth and Hunter left Holy City in December for good reasons that we all agreed with and supported. They are both family to this group and loved dearly. With that, it meant that we had to figure things out and seek God's direction for Holy City. Without getting into a lot of detail I will just say God has answered our prayers and is allowing us to continue our ministry. I am not shutting down Holy City but Chip and I will be ministeri...ng as part of The Glorymen out of Holly Springs, NC, along with Tiffany Shealy and Lacy Pittman. Lacy is the owner and bass singer and I always call him when I need prayer and support. A true friend that I trust. We talked, we prayed, and this is what God said do, so we are following. I will add, right here, that as of late December, none of us knew this was going to happen. Now the plan is to complete dates as The Glorymen. We will see what the future will hold and just as with anyone or anything, if you are truly following God there is no telling what tomorrow holds. We have the schedule worked out so that all Holy City dates and Glorymen dates that were scheduled before this ,will be honored. Please look up The Glorymen facebook page and like it when you get a chance. You can find all the dates on either the Glorymen web page or Holy City web page. God is Good!
We need to get together and support Chip in this effort. He and April will be going back to Peru this December with a team and they do great work with the children there. Also I have heard the two original songs Chip recorded as part of this project and they are top shelf songs with great messages. Then you put "The Voice" along with them and they can't help but be something you want to hear. I will be getting mine and hope all of you will also.
Hey ya’ll! Just wanted to shoot everyone a reminder... to give you an awesome opportunity to participate in a mission near and dear to mine and April’s heart!
W...e made it back from Daywind Studios last week... God showed up and blessed!!! This is a great recording with some of my favorite songs, songs of encouragement and even two of my original songs...
All proceeds from this project is providing the funds needed to help bring Christmas to the children of Peru!
Several of you have secured your copies and will be the first to receive the project, but there is still time and several still available, however it looks like the first shipment will be limited... so...
For any donation $20 or more to McCaa Ministries account below, you will be claiming one of the first copies and also be giving to a great missions cause!
Once we receive the CDs from the Studio, we will place yours in the mail! Easy as that!!! Thanks in advance for your support!!!!!

This day has been a long time coming. After 15 years of filling in for Holy City anytime we needed the high part covered... We are extremely excited to announce that we have asked Elizabeth Person to become our full time Alto, and she has accepted!!! Every time I called Elizabeth, for the past 15 years, in need of the high part, she has been there. She has been very faithful to Holy City. The best part is she loves the Lord, she loves the people we sing to each week, and she ...can flat out sing a song. The other great thing is that Elizabeth, Rod, Logan, and Jason are family to us already. I think Logan was 4 months old when Elizabeth and I started singing together and now he is playing High School Baseball and getting ready to turn 16, I think. Rod ran sound for Holy City for many years and has been a great friend of mine since 2001. Not to leave Jason out... I always just felt sorry for him because he was a Duke and Eagles fan... Love ya buddy...Elizabeth has been a Holy City Family member since day one, so this just makes sense on all levels. Those of you who have been around Holy City know that we even recorded a project with Elizabeth, "Special Edition", several years ago.
I have to admit that the first time I brought her down to help us out this time, in January of 2016, there was no intention of asking her to stay on full time and she knew that. BUT... it was the first time Hunter and Chip had sang with Elizabeth. As soon as we came off the stage that night both Hunter and Chip came to me and said we need to keep her and forget about trying to find a tenor. So we all began to pray about what God would have us do and we ALL came to this agreement. We are thrilled and ready to see what God has in store.
We will be at Midlands Singing Center with Jordan's River and Singing Steven and the crew Saturday at 6pm. The address is 705 Martin Smith Rd, Gilbert, SC and we look forward to seeing you there! I do have another Big announcement coming this week, well big to me. HINT...It has to do with our 15 year celebration this year and the date will be November 19 so save it for me please!!!
We celebrate the RISEN SAVIOR this week!!! I wish we could get all Christians to stay in Easter Week mode year round. God is so good to us! He has given His Son for all who will receive the gift. The price has been paid now all you have to do is accept this Gift. Thank you Lord!
We have two BIG announcements for next week that will be made but we are holding off because this is Jesus Week and we want the focus on Him. As Paul Harvey would say, "Stand by for news."
Sandridge Baptist Church simply out did themselves last night. The Screven Baptist Association Men's Monthly Meeting was held there and it was, one time, Awesome. The BBQ and Hash were EXCELLENT! There were probably 200 men there from all over the association, and we had had a great service of singing and a challenge from Pastor Owen Hill. Just a great, worshipful gathering. Thank God for this association who gathers their men every month together from all over the Tri-county area to enjoy good food and worship. WHAT A NIGHT!!!
All of you Low Country Men pay attention. Tonight Holy City will be singing at the Screven Association Monthly Men's Meeting. It is at the Sandridge Baptist Church on 176 near Holly Hill, and you get a free meal at 7pm and Holy City Sings at 8pm
We spent the day in Holly Hill, where I live, Sunday and it was awesome. Sunday morning at FBC Holly Hill with Pastor Marshall Locke and the great folks there. Then we traveled the block over to Holly Hill UMC and sang for the Holly Hill Music Club. Two great services and a great bunch of people. Oh Yeah and we had a great lunch prepared by Grandmom and Ms Lisa at Bolen Family Farm between the services. What a great day!!!
Witnessing people at the alter and souls being saved is what it is all about! A great weekend at Washington Ave. Baptist Church and Cannon Memorial Baptist Church, both in the Upstate of SC. Thank you Lord for your blessing on me! A 17 year old young man gave his heart to the Lord Sunday morning!
