I went looking for spawning salmon and found a fishing bobcat. Standing on the bridge watching the fish struggle upstream, I just happened to catch this Hoh inhabitant catching breakfast. You never know what you might come across even on a quiet snowy morning. Ranger Lee

Ian Kelmartin and other Fisheries graduate students do great work!

I consider scholarships to be a ma...

  • Danta is pleased to announce our 2017 field courses in tropical biol...ogy. Our course are intended for undergraduates or early graduate level students who have a keen interest in tropical ecosystems and conservation, but have little or no experience of working in a tropical environment. Participants may enroll on either a credit or non-credit basis. DANTA operates on a cooperative and collaborative teaching model with multiple international instructors on each course. Co-instruction allows for more individualized instruction, and the sharing and appreciation of different ideas. Visiting scholars are often incorporated into the curriculum to broaden student experience. As much of our advertising is done by word-of-mouth, we encourage you to spread the word by forwarding this information to students, colleagues and friends who may be interested in our programs. Thank you! عرض المزيد

In 2010 he got accepted into the master's degree program at University of Alaska, Fairbanks, in Juneau Alaska, where his field of study was Fisheries Biology Management. He was a paid assistant in the Fisheries Biology Lab. He was very proud of his academia achievements as all who knew him were. He wore his Humboldt Class Ring with much pride. He relocated to Seattle, WA area in July, 2014 due to failing health and lived there for 2 years. He had married in June 2010 to wife Sara Godinez. عرض المزيد
