A beautiful location with warm and attentive hospitality. The facilities are always being improved. Dining takes the best of what the Chesapeake and local farmers provide. The golf facilities and p...ro staff are highly skilled and professional in every way...and nice! Take a lesson! Yachting, tennis and pool round out a place that is magical every day on a peaceful Indian Creek. Worth checking out for sure! See More

Indian creek is More of a private country club rather than a major yachting destination. Reciprocity from our yacht club entitles us to deep discounts in the slip fees and therefor does make this des...tination more economical.

The docks are without attendant and are very low key. The bath/shower house is adequately nice with men and women's private facilities each having two bathroom stalls outfitted with standard shower fittings and two stalls outfitted with toilet facility. The shower and bath house is clean and looks newly built. Bring your own towels and soap as these are not provided. The piers themselves are free of stray lines and every tenant keeps electric cords and hoses neatly tucked away. Transients are welcome here from other yacht clubs and limited public.

There is a large screened in porch like gazebo 30 yards from the pier entrance which can be utilized for happy hour, parties, or mosquito free gatherings.

Elderly or folks limited in mobility might take advantage of the golf cart rental during their stay. The distance from the dock to the country club seems a bit daunting If perhaps you run out of pool side beverages or want to dine at the formal facilities inside the club at meals.

The country club does have a dress code. All men are to have business casual atire. All shirts must be collared. Pants or dress short pants and absolutely no jeans. The food menu is well done, delicious but not devine. Rotating menu and very attentive staff make for a nice dining experience in the classic old southern style rooms. The bar is full service with a variety of well known vintages and mixed drinks of your choice. The country club itself serves adult beverages but the pool is BYOB... no glass bottles.pool side please. .

The swimming facility is older. Well kept, small and clean with an adjoining awning adorned with several tables and seating for roughly 12 to 20 adults. The rest of the pool is bordered by standard pool chairs and lounges which are lifeguard maintained. Restroom located pool side are adequate, clean, and convenient. nearby the pool entrance there is a small "snack shop" serving the standard list of options: hamburger, hot dog, and various sundries.

A great place to meet friends, play golf, cruise the Bay, eat in an excellent restaurant, and play a challenge game of tennis. What more could you want?
