Van Cliburn Silver Medalist Kenny Broberg Rehearses Beethoven "Emperor"
Park University’s International Center for Music will host a series of concerts on Sunday, Oct. 15, at 4 p.m., Friday, Oct. 20 at 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 21, at 4 p.m. The concerts, a part of the Park ICM 1900 Series sponsored by Steven Karbank, will be held at the 1900 Building, 1900 Shawnee Mission Parkway (intersection of Shawnee Mission Parkway and State Line Road), in Mission Woods, Kan. Park ICM Orchestra in Concert Today!

Hailing from Novosibirsk (Russia), Igor Khukhua is already setting the US on fire with his mastery of the violin. Having performed in the best concerts halls in Russia, Igor declined the offer of a full-time position in the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic to study with Professor Ben Sayevich of The International Center for Music at Park University. Friday night, Igor is featured playing Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor, Op.64 with the Kansas City Chamber Orchestra at Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. Visit for tickets.
