Hailing from Novosibirsk (Russia), Igor Khukhua is already setting the US on fire with his mastery of the violin. Having performed in the best concerts halls in Russia, Igor declined the offer of a full-time position in the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic to study with Professor Ben Sayevich of The International Center for Music at Park University. Friday night, Igor is featured playing Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor, Op.64 with the Kansas City Chamber Orchestra at Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts. Visit kcchamberorchestra.org for tickets.
