Dear Friends. I know you have been looking for some news from me and the Gallery. I had hoped to get an early start on the year. However, that was not to be. I have been somewhat under the weather since the first of the year.I expect as a result to be undergoing a medical procedure in the near future. While this has slowed me down I am back at the Gallery each week Thursday through Saturday and painting. It is really true "old age is not for sissies."Keep in touch. I will be telling you about some exciting things at 20 Baltimore Ave soon.
the end of the years sale is now in progress in the Galleries at 20 Baltimore Ave. Gifts, unique decorations , tree ornaments etc.are available at end of the year prices. We hope you can come in and see us.
I thought I would share with you a piece which I recently finished for a customer as a gift. Her father served on the USCG 721. It was a real joy to do this painting for them.
Christmas greetings to all. We enjoy visits to the gallery by our friends and hope you will be able to stop in and say hello. We are open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11am to 5pm. Here is a picture to inspire your Holiday Spirit. The title is" Lift Up Your Eyes". It is of Mt. Shasta in northern California. Note the mountains peak and church steeple point your eyes toward heaven.
It was a struggle to enjoy Thanksgiving. Greed seems ruled the Holiday . I go with stores like Marshalls REI and others who were closed on Thanksgiving Day. We need to "take the holiday back!" Now its time to think of Christmas. While gift giving is appropriate(the wise men did it), we should work to recover the true joy and meaning of Christmas Here is a painting. based on a Spanish Hymn, "Lord You Have Come to The Lake Shore."
