Several couples friends reserved every room in the inn for New Year's Eve. It was just perfect for our group. We loved the unique history of this B&B! The staf...f was friendly and very knowledgeable about the old jail. Bardstown is a lovely place, rich in history and Kentucky tradition. The Jailer's Inn is a wonderful place to stay and start any adventure. See More

This was my first BnB experience, and even though I was only there about 12 hours, they were 12 very pleasant hours. The folks that run the place are great and room was very clean and comfortable. I had to leave early, so I missed breakfast, so I can't comment on that. I'm thinking I need to come back with my wife when we have some time to enjoy the place and explore Bardstown. See More

We just got home from there and already want to go back. Wife got us two rooms. The boys had a blast with their ghost hunting equipment. The staff was amazing.... The breakfast was really good. We spent a couple hours driving around and seeing all the rich history the town has so well preserved. Can't wait to go back. See More

The inn is a mix of the historical and modern. Our room featured original exposed rough hewn logs and a glimpse of the limestone behind. Breakfast was delicious. The tour of the jail after breakfast was interesting. Ghosts? Sorry, nothing to report.

It was a great experience, the rooms were very nice. Enjoyed Bardstown's uniqueness. Paul was an outstanding host, very personable and knowledgeable of the old jail and its historical significance. He also makes a delicious breakfast! Can't wait to come back with friends!

I truly enjoyed my stay in the Colonial room of this historic inn! The staff was extremely friendly & accommodating. Lisa fixes a terrific Jailhouse Rock casser...ole! There was plenty of fresh fruit for everyone. I loved meeting the other guests & sharing our experiences over breakfast. My room was even more inviting & charming than the website pictures show. The bed was extremely comfortable. I did not use the double jacuzzi but it was certainly nice to know that option was available. Be sure to take the tour of the jailhouse with Lisa if you want plenty of interesting history as well as inexplicable experiences Lisa has encountered in her time there. Bardstown is a charming town with plenty of friendly people eager to assist you to ensure you enjoy your visit. I would definitely visit this town again & would want to stay at no other place than the Jailer's Inn Bed and Breakfast! See More

Me and my hubby went there for our 4 yr wedding anniversary and it was top notch! Warm and inviting. The staff was friendly. The inn was clean. breakfast casser...ole was delicious! The owner was funny and quirky. Very informative tour. I would definitely go back and recommend. For the price it wasn't much more than your average hotel and the personal feel made it much more enjoyable than a average run of the mill hotel. Next time your going to be in the area stop in stay. Make your reservation sooner than later cause they book fast. Make memories, take pictures and leave only fingerprints at this wonderful... yet "a bit" haunted place! See More

We stayed the night here in the Colonial Room to celebrate my husband's birthday and sightsee Bardstown. The city is rich with history, so much to do! We really... enjoyed the pizza at Cafe Primo, so we highly recommend eating there. We also enjoyed visiting Old Talbots's Tavern. As for the Inn, the bed was amazingly comfortable and we never wanted to get out of it. The room was quaintly furnished. We loved the Jacuzzi and the cotton bathrobes. The breakfast was delicious and pleasantly not what I expected. I was expecting your run-of-the-mill bacon and eggs. We were served this yummy cream cheese stuffed French toast dish with lots of fruit. So good! We thankfully had no ghost encounters and initially had no clue this was a haunted bed and breakfast. The staff were so accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The tour of the jail was VERY cool and informative. Great value for the location - within walking distance to anything in downtown Bardstown. Loved our trip and we are sad it is over! See More

Had a great time with a group of friends..... Staff is super helpful and it's such a unique place to stay... Rooms are decorated beautifully. No ghost stories for any of us but the history of the jail is really cool. Definitely recommend as a place to stay.

We've stayed here 2 or 3 times now. Such a fun theme B&B, very convenient to Bourbon Trail, with lots within walking distance. Love the history behind it.

It was a really fun experience. The breakfast in the courtyard was very nice. First time I ever had bourbon for breakfast. But, it's not required if you'd rather not.

Absolutely amazing comfort and hospitality!! The town and especially the Jailer's Inn is rife with history and stirs the imagination about the lives of those wh...o inhabited the area 100 years, maybe more, ago.
