Yes, Jim Gaffigan is in fact playing in Raleigh the same night of our show with Fernando Ortega. However, Fernando is funny AND sings AND plays the piano. AND, ...JG doesn't have us opening for him. So, choice seems obvious to us. (Love you Jim Gaffigan!)
Thursday, November 9 @ 7:30pm. Get your tickets y'all.
Everything changed for me the week you died. I had settled.
When we met, several years before, you challenged me about the importance of being faithf...ul with the small things. You told me, “the way you spend a nickel is the same way you’d spend a million dollars.” You told me to forget about being a “Christian musician.” You told me to be a musician because I love music and to be a Christian because I love Jesus. Confusing the two does no good for anyone.
You welcomed me into your circle and made me feel important. You let me sit in with you and your band while you rehearsed, allowing me to show you that I’d worked out the opening synth part on “While The Nations Rage.” You didn’t have to do that. That meant so much to me.
You showed me the most efficient way to eat spaghetti.
You told me how nice my hair looked and then proceeded to mess it up right before this picture (below) was taken. I was horrified.
I had forgotten about all of this. Then you died.
At your memorial service, as we celebrated your life well lived, I woke up. I made significant and hard changes, and placed my life fully into the hands of Christ – maybe really for the first time.
Your death was the awakening I needed.
Today, as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of your death, I am eating spaghetti and celebrating the anniversary of my life. I’m pretty sure you’re good with that.
Love you Rich! Thank you, thank you for everything!
Great article about our pal Fernando Ortega and his new record. We're still tickled that we could be a part of this beautiful new offering. If you haven't heard it, maybe this article will convince you that it's about time you gave it a spin.
Jonathan's road keyboard is up for sale. Memories included.
This pal of mine is looking for a new home/stage. We've shared a lot of music and memories together. Many more songs left within these keys, no doubt.
To kick off celebrating 20 years of Team Noël making music together, Jonathan is putting together his first ever instrumental record. He's workin' his fingers off, y'all! More info and fun announcements very soon. Super excited! #thenoelsmusic20 #pianorecording #nordkeyboards

The empty filled, the wounded healed
The broken back together
The poor are blessed, the weary rest
We will dance forever
The blinded see, the chained are free
The doubtful now believer
The outcast known, the orphan home
You are my redeemer
Behold, Behold, Behold what love can do
Behold, Behold He's making all things new
The lost returned, the voiceless heard
The mourner now rejoicing
The mountains shake the world awake
Creation all composing
The sad untrue, the earth renewed
The song has found its singer
The darkness light, the dead alive
You are my redeemer
