hot off the presses! so thrilled to be included in the REST issue of Taproot Magazine... one of my absolute favorite publications. I also made a DIY kit for their holiday pop-up shop, available only on the #taprootmagazine website. so much goodness in those pages and in their shop. if you make the pillow, be sure to tag it in the #taprootmakealong!
hey oregon friends...mark your calendars! come and find me with the always-fabulous Egg Press at Schoolhouse Electric & Supply Co. in portland for some early holiday shopping! feeling a bit heart broken and sad like this bunny. it’s a small gesture, but kata golda will be donating 100% of the proceeds of the heart pendant (see first comment) to aid with the relief efforts in puerto rico via the flamboyan foundation. so many causes at this particular moment in our world...but this feels the most acute. i will be changing up the item and the cause each month....hoping to make a tiny bit of difference from my safe-feeling corner of the planet. if you would like to help, visit my website (www.katagolda.com) and find the sad bunny...
finishing up samples of the winter pocket pals...polar bear, penguin, arctic fox and snowy owl. trying to figure out how I can give them a little touch of colorful stitching while keeping them true to their pure white selves. my mind is in winter while my heart is deeply rooted in spring. #winterwonderlandinapril
This treasure just arrived in the mail! I'm feeling giddy to be included in this season's The Coastal Table magazine. It is a BEAUTIFUL publication...filled with recipes, projects and profiles of inspiring artisans. Thanks Rebecca Treon for such a lovely article!
