Fun little library. Found the geocache and also found a paper apple to trade in at the front desk for a real apple for Johnny Appleseed's birthday. Enjoyed speaking to some of the local folks during m...y visit. I real nice cozy library. And check out the "new" poem path that takes you for a long walk around the area looking for the plaques with poems on them. That starts with number one at the library. See More

KTL is the most amazing library. The staff is so friendly, they treat my wife and I as friends. In fact, we had the distinct honor and pleasur of being the only same sex couple to be married upstairs ...in the event room. Saturday, Nov.5, 2011, at 2 in the afternoon, my wife and I were married. The sun shown through the slanted windows above in a beautiful afternoon. We were thrilled and smiling from eat to ear. We want to thank the staff who made it possible, especially, Yvonne Brady and Ruthe Melvin, who were are witnesses. Thank you to everyone who was a part of it. Whenever we look at the beautiful facade if the library or stop by to choose a volume we think of the beautiful day that you all, in some way made possible. Thank you so much. I enjoy coming here to find what I like in great books I see. If I see something on the New York Central System I will certainly request it. I enjoy reading books on the New York Central System. I fin...d books on that railroad to be great reading and used to research a portion of the line that ran and still runs through our area. See More
