Hey everyone! The Spanish Society is proud to present its flagship event, The Spanish Symposium. The theme for this year's symposium is 'Spain on the road to recovery?'. Our high-profile speakers are:

- Luis Garicano (Former Economist for the European Commission and Professor at LSE)
- Daniel Lacalle (Economist and Fund Manager at Ecofin)
- Emilio Saracho (Deputy CEO J. P. Morgan)...

The general meeting will take place on Friday this week and not on Thrusday as mentioned in the previous email. It will take place at 3.00pm on the bottom floof of the Garrick. The main points on the agenda are
- elections for secretary for Spanish society 2011-2012 academic year
- discussion on Credit Suisse sponsoring. 2012-2013 academic year...
- discussion on Credit Suisse recruitment 2012-2013 academic year

The Spanish Society members been invited to a dinner by Credit Suisse on the week of the 23rd of January. Spaces are limited to Spanish speakers and/or holders of Spanish nationality. If you are interested in this fantastic opportunity please email the society your CV to su.soc.spanish@lse.ac.uk or if it doesnt work to a.munoz-merino@lse.ac.uk. Even if you are not interested in banking and finance, this can also be a great opportunity for networking, getting to know possible employers...
