La Casa has been our favorite place to meet for birthdays and other special events until recently. On Saturday, a group went for King's Day. The service was excellent, but the bathroom reeked of sewag...e. Today, we went for my birthday lunch. The bathroom reeked even worse, but the main problem was the service. Two people at the table finished their meals even though they ate VERY slowly before another person got her meal, which was not what she ordered. About ten minutes later, another person got her meal, which was NOT what she ordered. Five minutes later, mine came out, which was NOT what I ordered. By that time, I wasn't going to make four people wait for my lunch - four people who had finished their meals. I sent it back and never ate. What's happening La Casa?? See More

Every time I come to Thibodaux I HAVE to stop at La Casa at least once! Being from Lafayette I constantly compare La Casa to the restaurants here and none can even hold a candle to how good the food i...s! Not to mention, two margaritas and you are set. Love this place! See More

The food and service were great! We were in town to watch a football game with a big group. They took care of us on our timeline and kept the drinks filled while we waited! Will definitely go back time in town. See More

Went eat there last night, the place was entirely too noisy, it was loud before when they had booths but nothing last night, I guess now since they replaced them with table and chairs it's way too, my daughter and I could barely talk to each other cause we couldn't hear, very disappointed on the atmosphere, won't be going back any time soon See More

LaCasa has become 'just okay' and isn't an automatic/ go-to spot for us any more. After the move, everything was replaced, but nothing was updated. The atmosphere? If there were a blood pressure in the dining room, LaCasa could be Walgreens's. The chairs and lighting: everything is passé or unremarkable. The "so what" menu would be a good place to start the dining room update. I don't understand why a club is attached a restaurant that seems to cater to families only? The restaurant hardly says, "check out our hotspot." LaCasa is safe, thanks to sentiment, but some dazzle wouldn't hurt! See More

Went there with friends the food was great as was our server. She was patient with us waiting for our party to arrive. It did take rather long after we placed our order for it to arrive but she was ve...ry apologetic. All in all we had a great time See More

I've been dining out at La Casa for years and the food here has been decent for the most part. On my last outing over the weekend, the server wasted no time getting my orders to the table. My main c...ourse was up in less than ten minutes. I didn't have a chance to clean out the complimentary chips and salsa. The fried ice cream with chocolate sauce was perfect! My recommendation is to drop in during the less hectic lunch hours and stick to easily presented lunch combos. The atmosphere at the new location is pretty authentic, too. Great job! See More

Very good food and drink. Service is great. Met my wife 28 yrs ago at the La Casa that was located where Raisin Cane's is now. Will always have a special fondness for La Casa in Thibodaux.

Tonight my family and I attempted to eat at lacasa. We showed up at 5:30 requesting a table for 7 and a highchair for my nephew. We were told by the first hostess that there may be a wait due to reser...vations. Another hostess came up and told us we could not be seated. The restaurant was empty.. we will be taking our business elsewhere. See More
