This is the most beautiful location. The sunrises are breathtaking. The staff is great. The food is delicious. The facilities and rooms are new, clean and well cared for. My only complaint is the beds... are super hard but I believe they are getting special mattress pads to help with that problem. The Ann Arbor Women's Group goes every summer for a weekend retreat and we will continue going for as long as they'll have us. :) See More

The center is pristine, everything is clean and beautiful, well stocked and well staffed. The grounds as well as the rooms. It is perfect for a gathering, and our retreat was planned with lots of ac...tivities and lots of good food.
If a person wanted to relax by the water, be alone to read, or walk the trails, that was available as well. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful area and beach. Definitely worth trying out for a retreat. Cafeteria provides open selection of foods open to vegetarian and gluten free options. Outdated decor and furniture yet great staff. Very rude service from manager though, very unprofessional. See More

God is Good all the time. We took time at staff meeting this month to celebrate our first anniversary as a new corporation. It has been a prayer-filled year, and we thank God for being ever-present as we move forward. Knowing that our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ through outdoor and retreat ministries has kept the wind in our sails. Heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported this ministry with your prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness.

“Thank you” to everyone who contributed to the outdoor and retreat ministry of Michigan Area United Methodist Camping during our Giving Tuesday campaign. Over $9,000 was received during the weeklong donation drive, which will be matched by generous anonymous donors to become over $18,000. Your gifts will help all the camps in our system to spread God’s love through life-changing experiences in 2018.

If you haven’t yet made a year-end gift to camping ministries, would you consider it now? You can designate your gift to fund camp scholarships, site improvements or general needs. If you’ve already contributed, thank you! Campers continue to tell us the significant part camp plays in their walk with Christ. Your support is felt and appreciated!

May God bless you and your family this Christmas!…/thank-you-for-your-generous-support/
